ok so i see the play list but how do i add the games to the play list? Also can the play list be added to the main menu in Big Box? So in BB when i scroll through my platforms i would want to see SNES, Nintendo, Atari etc... and then also have a Street Fighter- or do i always have to go to view play lists?

I am here .. . Below --- Auto Populate -- I have no idea what this means? I am a total Noob hate to ask these questions, hopefully can be pointed to a document or video ... and in this tab, i cannot click on anything to pick a game like street fighter(s) sorry to be a pain. is there a tutorial on this so i dont have to bother you all with a million silly questions? Im clueless .... haha sorry all ... but really appreciate any help ... document or video would be great if there is one ?

Thank You - I saw a few videos on specific platforms like "super Nintendo" and then within that platform it showed how to break out "fighting games" "sports games" etc ... but couldn't find anything specifically to have what i am trying to achieve. I checked out tutorials on playlists ... Im not sure that is what i want to achieve. Does LB support this: See picture of Street Fighter collection I guess this is called a "hacked collection" ? Does LB support this?

got any tutorials to send me to? and will this also display the art work?

i recently converted from hyperspin to full version of LaunchBox. In HS I had a few custom collections such as "Street Fighter" games with its own menu. So the menu had ONLY street fighter games. Is this possible with Launchbox? Apologies in advance if this is a common thing but i searched the forums and couldn't find this exact scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My card is NVIDIA - on Laptop HP - Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7-12650H 1GB Memory SSD Thoughts? Another question - has anyone ran this on a laptop ? I have to assume someone wanted to for mobility ?

The black one with the adapter works fine ... The Grey Bluetooth does not get detected in LB - but is in my Bluetooth menu and is recognized by gamepad-test.comu Any ideas?

LB does not see my controller ... but gamepad-test.com sees it and it shows up in my blue tooth devices. see picsh

Ok i thought i was done ... So ... I am able to exit now that you explained the concept of close active window. Now i am in Super Nintendo and playing Street fighter. I like the D pad my son likes the stick i programmed both D pad and Stick in launchbox and in bigbox - but doesnt work while playing street fighter. I think i get this now --- so the reason it doesnt work is because i need to program this in the emulator? I am using Retroarch. If i am totally off please explain - If i need to program retroarch to use both stick and dpad how do i do that? In advance- many thanks

Thanks Im not sure what i am doing wrong here. Retroarch is configured as the main emulator. It's my only emulator as i am starting off with just one system. Super Nintendo. I went to Launch Box and configured the exit buttons on the Select and Start (press together) and that works I go to big box and configure the same thing (is this necessary?) In Launchbox when i hit select and enter at the same time, the game closes and i am back to the main menu. In Big Box Select Enter at the same time just pauses the game. I am assuming i am just doing something totaly stupid here but cant figure it out for the life of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi All - I dont want to post a thousand questions about controller options for Big Box. I am having a hard time getting my xbox one blue tooth controller to work right. Works in Big Box fine up down enter etc ... But when i get into games - i cant start, cant exit cant do much. Is there documentation on how this all works? video? I also am interested in ... do i need to program each emulator? or can i just use retroarch and program ONCE? How do i defalut the games to retro arch? working on one emulator for now super nintendo and it does not give me option for retroarch

In windows 11 i got to the hardware acceleration through system settings and there are two options on and off. It was on - i turned it off - still same issue. Any feedback here? Is there a guide on what type of video cards dont work? the laptops i set up were pilots to set up before i set up an official rig for my gaming so my kids can play on the TV before i buy one- are there any guidelines on what i should buy? as i posted - i ran it on my desktop PC (the one i use for work) and it worked fine. I guess i can buy the same PC but was hoping to use a laptop so i can transport between rooms. any advice? Many thanks in advance

It's an NVIDIA card no an Iris Any advice on the hardware acceleration settings? Am i to assume this problem shows up quite a bit with laptops? As most would be integrated.
