Hi all, not had any response! I have the diff file, hi-score text and mame source file, just need guidance on how to compile myself. Any tutorial and guidance would be greatly appreciated. I used the MC64 compiler and also MinGW but get loads of errors!

This might sound really odd and posting this now. I have alway had a problem with mame space invaders as the newer versions of mame changed the sounds of space invaders and not how I use to know it when I was a kid playing in the amusements in UK. The version as I understand is based on Midway US and the sounds are different especially the shooter sound. I have done some investigation and found the sound had changed from mame 0.114u1. Previous version before that was perfect as it was based on sample files and it is this version I want to use for my system. However, using mame 0.114b I want to remove the no-nag and warning intro and with hi-score save function but finding this version on the web is nigh impossible. Can anyone help?
