As the title says. - I had to re-do my OS on my computer so fresh install. - installed the latest 13.17 and it gets as far as the splash screen then closes itself. - thats it!. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? For clarity. - this was perma installed on my alt drive. I just installed the latest version over the top of the older one. so Im assuming I need to maybe trash some prefs somewhere? Im not smart enough to figure all this out, so leaning on you for a few hints. thanks!

Thanks!. - but, however when I click the 257 merged. - I get this. Any clues? wow Im learning so much about stuff. - needed a torrent, so got one, and now its downloading. albeit.. and funnily.. will be downloaded in 4 days! very big file, and very slow! though I shall not complain!

Becasue this is my first emulator!, im strugling (very much) to come to terms with all the terminology, this and that, and what is what etc!. So trying to find things and advise, but becasue (guessing) these things are like hot cakes. things move on/change so quick that its out of date the week after!, therfore forum scrolling is a bit more confusing that it seems!. So, point being... This is the latest on the "pleasuredome" - from 2016. - set 0.174. - confuses me, as the YT vids I watch are mostly using .240 or so. ??? The set I have, is the only one I manged to find that actually downloaded (after 9 hours of searching) - wow!.. was actually a 2003 set. So, needless to say... out of the 2600x games installed, so far, every 50 games I try and run, they fail,, then 1 random game will work. So I dont know!. - its al; confusing!. - and now (again 3 hours later) still sitting here as confused as a newborn! Credit to launchbox for trying to make things easy!. sadly, its not if I can get it to work as I like, then Id be down for a lifetime support..and Bigbox! as I have all the time!.

Hey!. im really _really_ new to all this... and quite frankly, I had to sweat it to get everythign to work! ...and now I did!.. so im glad after what seems like forever. (yeah Im not a computer tech wiz) ok, so now I have it all working, and I really want to create the scanline look/feel like the old days of what I remember the most. - Ive seen so many people do screenshots from Lauchbox/mame. but for the life of me spending the last hour searching and googling around, I cant find a option to do any of this!. I stumbled across a few threads with a raster.ini file that I used, but that failed to work, as it was posted 2 years ago!. so im at a loss So... wondering if you fine folks can point me in the right direction, - that Im so sure that Im doing somethign wrong, silly or generally being blind!. *this is my first ever emulator, so please be paitent if I sound dumb.. (we are all new at some point.. right) Thanks and ta! x
