Can anyone help me understand why my Mame refuses to enable default bgfx or hlsl?? I've tried editing the ini, and nothing works. I always have to go into slider and enable monitor 0, screen 0, and select it EACH and every time, for every game.... mame.ini

I seriously can't just have mame default to a shader type I like with bfx?? I have to edit a separate ini file for each game? that's insane. Also when I change slider settings in mame, it does not seem to save an there's no way to set a preset? WTF?
