  1. I had the same issue after restarting my PC, but then a subsequent restart seemed to resolve the issue. Weird 😕
  2. Not sure why, but when the 13.25 installer was nearly completed, AVG reared its ugly head saying that the installer and app were untrusted, as well as some temp file was being quarantined. I overrode it and everything seems to have turned out fine, but this was the first time that I've had this issue since I started using LB 😕
  3. Figured it out. I had to add my IP to AVG
  4. Hey everyone, I'm trying to set up a network share on my Android device to my local PC, just to see how it works. I've shared my games folder on my local PC, even created a dedicated account just for this purpose. When I go to Import Games on my Android device, select Import Games, Network Share, I see my local PC and select it. It then prompts me to enter Username and Password. I've tried the name of the dedicated account, my admin account, my LaunchBox account, everything that I can think of, but all fail. I've confirmed that the passwords that I'm entering are all correct as well. In the How To, it mentions entering your network username and password but I'm not sure what else this could be referring to. What am I missing here 🤔 My local PC is running Windows 11 with the latest updates and trying to connect from an Android device running Android 13
  5. A thousand thank yous!! I had looked everywhere, but never thought to look for automatic snapshot in Retroarch, as I'd sometimes be prompted that there were 7 screenshots after only being in the game for less than a minute. I hope this is truly it and will update this as solved, once I have a chance to confirm that I'm no longer getting these 🤓
  6. I seem to get this somewhat randomly and have no clue what is triggering it. Even if I shutdown background apps like Steam and disable screenshot hotkeys everywhere I can find, I still seem to get this prompt from time to time and really wish I could just make it go away lol Hoping someone knows what's triggering it 🤓
  7. Hey there, this looks great, but I'm not sure how to get it to work properly. I downloaded the theme, installed it in my Themes folder, and then selected it as my theme, but none of the available Views look remotely like what's in your video. I tried both version available, but the same 😕
  8. I was just wondering why this was the case, and now I know. I really wish we could have softcore scores show in Launchbox. Or at the very least, don't show a big fat zero if you're not in hardcore mode. It's kind of depressing seeing it stuck at zero 😕 I've been playing video games for nearly 5 decades. I'm way past the point of wanting to play games in hardcore mode anymore, unless I really have to of course. I just want to have fun! Getting achievements along the way is a nice perk 🤓
  9. I get something similar, but it most frequently happens to me while I'm playing a game. I suddenly find that I can no longer being up the Big Box pause screen and it's because BB is no longer running. Not found any pattern for it yet.
  10. Figured it out, it needed to go into the Platform Categories folder instead
  11. While importing my MAME roms, it gives you the option to create Playlists based on the Publisher I like these, but not nestled amongts the other Auto Generated Playlists, so I added a Platform Category called, Arcade Publishers I then moved each of the Arcade Publisher Playlists to appear under this Now, I want to assign an icon in the Sidebar for my Arcade Publishers Playlist, but haven't been able to do so I've found how to override other image types, by adding images to the Playlist and setting the Image Type, but that doesn't cover the Sidebar icon, that I can tell I've tried naming it after my Playlist name and placing it in the various folders, but still no luck Hoping there's something simple that I'm overlooking TIA!
  12. Thank you everyone, for your help on this!! Nuking and redoing the import was the trick. Although, when I nuked my Arcade collection, it left behind all of the Publisher Playlists, and when I reinstalled and said yes to configuring MAME again, it actually installed a second instance of MAME that was configured differently that didn't load. Nuking that emulator instance and repointing my arcade platform to the working insance was the trick.
  13. The only file I have showing, is dlair.zip, which is in my downloads folder Looking at the game in LB, it's pointing to this file, as shown in below screenshot Yeah, I manually placed this here, to see that it would work, which then led me to find that some games are referencing the Games folder, while others are referencing the Download folder. I've been tinkering on this so much of late, starting to forget what I did where lol And I agree, removing functionality isn't a good idea. Is there a way to import the games again, using a merged set, and not have them split between two locations? I did find an older post, where it was being asked Merged vs Non-Merged, and it sounded like both could be made to work. If I were to nuke the games from LB, then ensure that everyt file is in the Arcade/Games folder, and then import everything from there, would that work?
  14. The collection indicated that it's a Merged set The files that were left in my download folder do physically exist And even when I tried running a game that requires a CHD file, I had to move the CHD file to my download folder, rather than the LaunchBox/Games/Arcade folder I've attached a screenshot comparing the two locations, with my download folder on the left, and the LaunchBox/Games/Arcade folder on the right The files that are still in my download folder, show up under their respective games Additional Apps tab, of which I have attached as a second screenshot
  15. Were you able to resolve it? Did re-import everything again? Or just live with it?
  16. Evening Everyone Apologies if this has been covered already, wasn't able to find any clarity on this. New to LaunchBox, I imported all of my Arcade roms, and even though I selected Move all files to Games/Arcade, it only moved some of them Meanwhile, the games themselves show up in LaunchBox, they're just pointing to the original folder where they were. Why did this happen and is there an easy way to move all of the game files to a single directory?
