Try macii or maciici, that’s usually enough for early 90s color stuff. MAME Mac emulation is kinda janky though, so don’t be surprised if some games act weird or just refuse to run.

I’d first try running LaunchBox or MAME as admin and remap the 1 Player Start and Coin inputs inside MAME itself. Usually once those save properly, it starts working.
