submitted to LB database, I tried to do the Evangelion one, but I can't handle the more complex Japanese titles, I don't read or write Japanese.

Thank you so much! And don't worry about the Akihabara Dennou Gumi and the Evangelion logo. I give it a try and did it myself for the Akihabara game. Luckily I was able to do it and upload it to the database. The quality isn't as good as your logos always have, but I think it's better than nothing.  ?

Anyway, later I'll try to do something with the Evangelion logo too.  ?

Once again, thank you for your awesome work.  ??

  2. Hi. I'm back with some Sega Dreamcast requests, if you can help me.

There are 2 scan for Di Gi Charat so you can select the most convenient logo. Anyway, this time, all the scans are very high quality.

Thanks in advance for your help!  ??

EDIT: I forgot a Saturn game that have it's logo missing.

submitted to LB database. Couldn't do much with bloody vampire with the low resolution.

I know about Bloody Vampire, but it's the best picture I could found on the web since it's a eShop game with low popularity, but I like it. However, you made an awesome job as always despite the low quality of the image.

Thanks again for your help!  ?

submitted to the LB database, wasn't able to do the Crayon Shin-chan, it's too blurry

Sorry. I knew Crayon Shin-chan's boxart was awful. Still, was the best version of the pic I can found.

Also, I forgot to send before the cover I've attached here. Could you please help me in this one too?
As always: Thank you so much for your hard work!  ??

I was able to find a larger image of Madou Monogatari I on ebay. Screenshots helped with the other two. I didn't add Madou Monogatari I to the database as I don't see it there.

Wow! You're awesome! They look perfect.

Also, you sure got pretty good luck finding a better quality image. Don't worry, I'll add the logo to the database for you. It is for the TurboGrafx CD version, that is kind of a remake of the Mega Drive version.

Thank you so much for your help!

what about screenshots of the title screens? can you post those? I might be able to use them.

1st attachment: Title screen for Madou Monogatari I: Honoo no Sotsuenji is very low-res as any PC Engine game.

2nd attachment: I managed to do something using black borders around pixels and filling the remaining holes with black. Could be better, but I think it's better than nothing.

3rd attachment: Screenshot from Numba Deluxe contains the only logo you can find in-game during a couple of seconds after "opening animation" ends.

4th attachment: The animated wave behind the Waveform logo looks pixelated despite being from a 1080p screenshot, but it's the game's fault. I don't know the "original" resolution of the game, but I tried every resolution and it looks always pixelated. Anyway, it would be good if it can be erased from the logo.

These are all too low resolution to work with, I can understand  the difficulty you've had with these. I tried one of them and couldn't make some thing acceptable.

Yeah, I know. But those are the larger pics that you can find on the Internet at the moment. I tried with Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, TinEye and some others without any better result, always the same pics or resized (pixelated or blurred) versions of the same pics I've sent here.

I know these games are not popular, but I like them and want my collection to be neat. I don't know what to do...  ?

  8. Hi everyone!  ?

I was wondering if you can help me with some clear logos I need. I'll be sure to upload it to the database also.

Usually I made my own clear logos and upload them too, but the difficulty on the ones I'm uploading here are overwhelming to me.

I hope you can help. Thanks in advance.  ?

  9. Hi! ^_^
I'm amazed with your work, man! :D
I use to search for logos in Google Images a lot until I give up. From all my Arcade games catalog I've just 2 stones in my shoes: "Legend of Heroes" and "Lode Runner: The Dig Fight".

With other logos I used make the logos myself if the source images are simple enough for my low image editing abilities. But, due to the complexity of this flyers, I can't do it. I hope you can help me with this two images, please. I will be eternally grateful. ^_^

Alternate titles needs to happen soon. We're just going to keep nitpicking things to death otherwise.

I totally agree with you. Right now I have in my moderation queue the NES version of Adventure Island for the 6th or 7th time since I started moderating a couple of months ago. I'm starting to doubt about accepting or rejecting this change...  D:

  11. Good to know that a solution for alternative titles is inthe workd. ^_^
But I want to ask something: could be added an option to add aliases for games despitetheir region changes? I mean, there are a lot of games out there that, independent of their region, they are named in different ways and cause conflicts in the database of people changing their name back and forth constantly. Common examples of endless conflicts I found moderating the database contents are: Adventure Island, alias Hudson's Adventure Island; Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles, alias Sonic 3 & Knuckles; The King of Fighters 99, alias King of Fighters '99: Millennium Battle and alias King of Fighters '99, The - Millennium Battle.

A suggestion that was spinning in my head for a while would be a solution for alternative titles just like in thegamesdb.net but with an option for region selection just like we do when adding images for every specific games. :)

Sorry for the very long text.  D:

  12. Hi! ^_^ I was passing by here for other circumstances and found your post about the same pending game in my moderation cue. It's a hack of the game "Armadillo" only released for the japanese Famicom. I think it's not a very relevant hack since the only thing changed was the main character that was swapped with crappy and misplaced Mario sprites. It haven't any level layout or story changes. It's only the exact same Armadillo game with Mario in it, like any other chinese ROM hack. I think it doesn't deserve an entry in the database because the lack of interesting changes that can make me say "it's a new game" or "it's an improved version", but I still don't know if it's correct to do that. Please, help? :(
  13. SentaiBrad said Well chances are we would just use the ability to play the video's within LaunchBox... but that would require users to also install Flash (not for Firefox or Chrome), so at the very least it is a great alternative. I completely forgot about it. Edit: My only concern is the content creator not getting any metrics or ad views from using VLC.
Based on tests I've done in the past, I've played YouTube videos loading it's URLs in VLC Player on computers with Windows 7 and without Adobe Flash at all, not even Chrome or Firefox installed. Just the plain Internet Explorer 8. :P Maybe the reason about why it's working without Adobe Flash is that VLC gets the link behind the YouTube URL that leads you directly to it's respective mp4/webm/flv file. ^_^ Anyway, I don't know if VLC libraries works like that without it's own GUI. :P
