Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is Launchbox Version I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need I don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree I just want launchbox for my own More than launchbox could ever know Make my wish come true All I want for Christmas is launchbox, yeah. I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need And I don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree I don't need to hang my stocking There upon the fireplace Santa Claus won't make me happy With a toy on Christmas Day I just want launchbox for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true All I want for Christmas is launchbox launchbox, baby Oh, I won't ask for much this Christmas I won't even wish for snow And I'm just gonna keep on waiting Underneath the mistletoe Merry Christmas Launchbox ^_^; But it's already too late T_T
  2. Jason Carr said Hi @LJKO, you can customize the sorting by using the "Sort Title" field on games. It might take some tinkering, but you should be able to get the games to sort how you want. I have some ideas for custom filter I would like to suggest but hard to explain since I'm not good at explaining stuff; but I did some photoshopping again (btw i'll be doing more photoshop stuff for future explaining please bare with me T_T) For Custom Filter are you able to do something like this? So the idea is to Create a filter, title, directory whatever you want to call it for example like in the picture my is AJRPG and ACTION ADVENTURE; Select the series you want to put into that filter then the series name will show under the newly created filter
  3. I did some digging into the feature we have so far and customize to my liking with Series as filter and arrange by version but then I found another problem that put me on halt. When I was typing the version for a series that has more then 10 entries it seem like it letter and number sensitive. For example ill use Final fantasy; I type FF1 to FF9 version it organize with no problem but when I type FF10 it organization will be something like this: FF1, FF10, FF2, FF3, FF4, FF5, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9. Are you able to add a filter and arrangement for organize number and letter (roman numerial?) order. Thx
  4. Jason Carr said Hi @LJKO, per Big Box, I intend to make it as flexible as LaunchBox is filters-wise; it just might take me a bit to get there. However, I don't intend Big Box to ever be used for significant editing. That will always remain in LaunchBox itself. Per the pop-up idea, we certainly could use a better interface for playing different versions than the right-click menu. I don't see us moving away from the additional applications approach, but it can always be presented in a better way, like your popup. However, I don't think that will solve the entire problem for you, as it sounds like you want the ability to connect a single game to multiple platforms. That would be quite a structure change in how LaunchBox handles game data. I can see the benefit of it, but I'd also be worried about the interface becoming too over-complicated. We could implement a "related games" (or similar) feature, though, that might get us closer to what you're looking for. The challenge is to keep things simple enough for complete newbies while keeping the collectors happy. Thank for the reply and if I have more suggestion and question i'll post it here ^_^
  5. First of all I would like to say you guys have done an amazing job with this program and one of the best I use out of all the frontend I've experienced; good job and keep up the good work ^_^. Anways back on topic. Firstly I would like to ask a question regarding Bigbox; I want to ask if there a way to do custom filer when you start up Bigbox or is this just beta version and you'll eventually add this option? Because I want organize and categorize by genre and series when starting up instead of platform; unless there is already a way to do it but I haven't figure out that option yet lol The whole purpose of me and everyone else getting into frontend emulation is because we can launch everything in that one place with description and cool looking images ^_^; but the most important thing for me about frontend is that organization aspect which comes to my idea and suggestion. I like to organize my stuff by genre and series as I stated but there is still one problem that occurs which I think is rather important which is some series have different version, ports, remake, and multiple disc. I hate the fact that I have to choose different platform in order switch to a different version I want to play or I hate the fact that I have to create multiple version of the game that suppose to share the same name and identity but it's on a different platform which I think looks retarded sitting next to each other. So my suggestion is can you create a interface when you select a title the interface shows up and you are able to select the version of that title that you want to play?; I think my explanation is a little confusing so I did a little photoshopping to show what I mean. So let me explain here is I select the title then a interface will show up; it has the banner on top and 2 logo of two version of the game nes and snes. Select one to play whatever version. I would also like to suggest this could apply to multiple disc and people instead of right clicking to change disc they can click on logo to load the game ^_^
  6. I've recieved it; Thank you ^_^
