Hi, I have some issues with meda. In som cases a 3d box is displayed as front box and generally it seems like a mess. I downloaded all my media before the gamesdb got up and running and i believe thats the problem. I would like to start from scratch deleting all the old stuff. What is the best way to do that? Can I delete all the media folders? Kind regards, Carl

Hi again, I would love to have a playlist feature such as in Spotify. Basically you would right click a game, select add to playlist and then select between add to existing or create new. This would allow someone to easily create a collection of eg. all Mario games across all platforms or just have a favorites playlist.

Sure but that would not work with the scraping from the games db. If I want title snaps to be used as "box arts" I still want to be able to have them updated and scraped with updates made in the DB, without having to move stuff back and forth. I understand there are work arounds but with the new games DB the possibilities are endless. Customized artwork - synced from the DB. Artwork is what keeps the Hyperspin community going and I think a cloud based solution with artwork themes would be of great benefit for Launchbox..

Hi! My Mame collection is not looking very pretty with the flyers in various sizes in the box art view. It would be great if it was possible to select eg. title snaps or even wheel logos from Hyper spin. Basically a way to select a box art "theme/category" per platform. I believe that would be very much appreciated. Keep up the awesome work!

Hi, I'm using a white background and theme and there is a horrible drop shadow (imho) on the titles in box art view. It would be nice if it was possible to toggle this on and off. Cheers!

Awesome work btw :) Right now you increase the size of the sidebar, click to another game and go back the game with the video and it will be bigger. He notes this as known problems. Basically if you use Don's Hyperspin Tools (it is a program that makes it real easy that you can rename roms or create your own xml files among many other things) it is a program that makes it really easy to weed out mame clones,adult games,bios,mahjong,etc. and you can include anything or remove anything you wish and then it will generate a xml file. Also some example clones that you want to keep are pacman and tmnt2po (2 player version of tmnt) and etc. It was originally created for hyperspin but the xml files it creates can be used with any frontends that has the ability to read xml files. In fact I have all my xml files located in the database folder inside of Launchbox so Rocketlauncher can read them to get the info for the fade and etc. that rocketlauncher uses when I use LB. I imported my mame games last night in LB and chose all the options to remove clones, bios and etc. and while it removed the majority of it , it still left a lot of junk behind that I need to figure out how to remove. If it had the ability to read an xml file that already had the stuff you don't want removed that would be awesome! I co-sign this request. Running latest beta and the MAME import still isn't good enough. Hyper Spin xml functionality would be awesome for all systems.
