  1. For multiplayer games besides the Max Players, could it be possible to add more information if the game supports simultaneous or alternate players, and have the option in LB to use this data as a filter like in MAME? 2P alt 2P sim 3P alt 3P sim 4P alt 4P sim etc.
  2. CADScott said I would love to see the option to select different images as the displayed image in LaunchBox / BigBox, and without having to move the wrong images into the front folder. My hope is that eventually we have the per platform option to select from a list of all available images to display as the front image. Ideally this would be a drop down with all types of images, and with separate settings for LaunchBox and BigBox. This would allow us to have flyers showing for mame in LaunchBox, but have screenshots or titles for BigBox. But the setting needs to be per platform, because I would hate to have this setting common across all platforms. I made a similar suggestion for selecting which images should be used as art, such as boxes, ingame, title, etc. In my case, it had more to do for browsing unplayed games or just not remembering the name of the game, but I can see how it applies here specially for arcade games which are non-standardized, as consoles boxes. "..... I think there should be an option to use either boxes or in-game snapshots as part of the default view in LB and BB. So far its easier to find complete or close to complete sets of in-game images for most platforms, than for box arts, specially imports." ".....when browsing for new games that you never played before, boxes give an great neat look at the collection, but in-game snaps are more useful to get a better idea about actual game. I know that you can click on each game and look at the details panel for game snaps, but that is the problem, you have to click each game to see what it actually looks like. For example, when inviting friends to play, most don't remember the names of the games they want to play, and they end-up clicking on each cover to see if that's what they are looking for or if is something they would like to play" Post link https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/launchbox-beta-testing/page-66 So cheers Jason, for considering this for the To-Do list, and the arcade posters sounds great.
  3. Glad to hear about the navigation update! For the suggested alternate view, this has more to do when browsing for new games that you never played before, boxes give an great neat look at the collection, but in-game snaps are more useful to get a better idea about actual game. 4. Hello everyone, sorry for posting this in the beta testing, but I think there should be an option to use either boxes or in-game snapshots as part of the default view in LB and BB. So far its easier to find complete or close to complete sets of in-game images for most platforms, than for box arts, specially imports. Also, and I think this is already in the to-do list, but hopefully there could be an option to jump quickly between letters while browsing games. Cheers,
  5. Just wondering if this is possible or if it could become an option for a future release? I like the cover art view, but most of my invites get a better idea of the game by looking a the snapshot of the game rather than the box art (I know that is what the details panel is for, but while browsing a large list of games, it's much easier to look at all the snaps rather than selecting each game to see the snaps). I think it would be a really nice option if the user could switch between those views Also, not sure if it has been requested but hopefully all images could be zoomed or stretched to a set dimension to keep images sizes uniformed (ie. all title and in-game snaps for a certain system should be zoomed the same size), as some of the images scrapped have a different resolutions, making the details panel view look kind of messy, with a big title snap and a tiny in-game snap, etc.. thanks!
