Setting up another handheld and I want to switch to another theme, but Launchbox forces me to go online. Why? I don't want to download a new theme, I just want to manage my existing themes. Thanks

I got the new Pimax Portal handheld running Android 10 and I'm trying to have Launchbox 1.9 grab its data from the MicroSD. I go under options and try and change the data folder, but I get an error stating that "Android if not granting read and write permissions to the folder youve specified, etc" This is my 1st device that fails this way. Any ideas? When other launchers try to use a dir on external storage, it asks for permission, can launchbox do this? I got retroarch to use the microsd by editing all of the playlist xml files and putting that number in like xxxx-xxxx

Why does it ask do you want to download it and nothing happens. I did fix it by downloading the .net that was linked above. Just thinking to make easier for others.

I love launchbox and have it installed on many of my handhelds. My issue is running it on the new Retroid Pocket 3+ (will test on 3 also), but my issue is when launching retroarch64 with it (32 also). It just goes to a blank screen, nothing else. Retroarch64 runs fine when I load it separately. How should I debug this issue? thanks. UPDATE: Sorry works fine (both 3 and 3+), my search and replace was not working when updating my xmls, I'm stupid. LOVING LAUNCHBOX, thanks Jason

I found an issue while trying to import my Daphne roms using 1.6 beta 1. If I choose my daphne rom dir, launchbox will automatically choose daphne as the platform, but I don't see daphne on the list of platforms if I choose platform before the dir. Launchbox also doesn't import anything unless I point the directory to the zips of the roms and then it finds them, but crashes as it trys to import them after about 5 seconds. Loving the new beta, maybe a way to start launchbox on the last platform that was used? Thanks

Thanks, never saw that. I found a bug/issue though. When I choose an image for the logo (logo.png) it works fine and then I can choose another image and have it named anything. If I don't have an image you can't pick an image for box if you don't know what it should be called. Hope that makes sense. anyone know what Box Image should be named? I also still want to know where Launchbox will store these though.

I'm trying to add some images to a few platforms that are empty (Mattel Intellivision, MSX, etc). I can't seem to find where these are stored. Any idea where to put these images, thanks

Awesome, Thanks. I would never had figured that out since the games were running fine in the emulator. I just removed my roms dir in AetherSX2 and added again my _Top directory and than rescanned everything. I now run great! Thanks man. Hope this helps someone else out too.

Roms load fine with AetherSX2 by itself, but when I try and launch the rom within Launchbox it fails. I'm on android 10 (Ayn Odin Pro) I have my PS2 Roms stored on the Micro-SD card (6361-3662) /ROMs/SonyPlaystation2/_Top25/MVP 07 NCAA Baseball (USA) (1.00).chd my other systems seem to load roms without issue. Any ideas? Thanks

Is there a new beta version past 1.5? I'm on 1.5 and when I start up Launchbox, it tells me a new version is available, but I seems to freeze about 4/5 of the way. I requested an android build from website and my email just pointed to 1.5. Thanks. Really hoping 1.6 will have ordering of the systems. Sorry, finally went through and I'm now on 1.6 beta-1. Thanks, yes I did know that and will have to do for now, but also requires some work on my part. I might have to write something that will automate that process, damn that is exactly what I will do, Thanks.

I use Emulation Station on many linux handhelds and love one feature. It will list a directory along with games when I point a system to a directory that has a sub directory in it (ie NES with a TOP directory that only has my top 25 NES games in it.) That way I can go into each system and then go into my Favorite/Top directory and only see my favs. Any chance of that feature coming over to LaunchBox someday? Thanks for all your hard work, amazing how far launchbox has come over the years.

I kinda have it working after moving all the images & videos to internal storage, but one major thing does not work. FAVORITES. I thought I would have a category under each platform call favorites. I have gone through all my systems and created favorites on my PC, but when I import the platforms to android, favorites are gone. There is an option to show favorited games first, but that doesn't seem to work for me. I got it to kinda work by setting secondary filter to none, then my favorites are listed first, great. My issue is why not have a favorite category along with the others like sports, adventure, etc. Doesn't that make sense? thanks
