  1. I've decided to use NullDC for all of my DC games since DEmul is slow and choppy as heck (with everything). Also, I'm using SSF with Rocketlauncher through LB for Saturn. I'm following Simply Austin's Guide (below). Then there's another video about importing RL settings to LB by him as well. I should be good after that.
  2. Tried that too. I guess I'll try tomorrow. Time for bed. Thanks for the help!
  3. Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant load them through RA through LB, That works but slowly. Stand alone Mednafen doesn't work through anything
  4. It created the extra files (Stand alone Mednafen). Nothing when dragging files to exe though. As I said, it works in LB but super slow.
  5. Dragging it to the exe with the stand alone Mednafen.
  6. cue+bin. They load in Retroarch but they are slow. Not sure what's up with that.
  7. I watched your video on Mednafen and I get to the part where the emulator launches but it doesn't. I have the bios files in the folder. What else can I try?
  8. I couldn't run Crazy Taxi on either one. I'll try some other games on DEmul.
  9. So, the question is, which one should I use for my system?
  10. It's better than DEmul though, right? That's what I found out when I used DEmul anyway.
  11. "Sonic Adventure 1 & 2" work great."Crazy Taxi" is slow and choppy.
  12. I just did a trial run on nulldc and it works great!! Hydro Thunder worked fine anyway.
  13. Awesome! I will try PSP since I have a premium account to an emulation place. Dolphin kinda works for the Gamecube games though.
  14. Thank you for the quick reply, lordmonkus. I really appreciate it. I've been messing with the settings for hours but nothing makes a difference on PS2, so the reply was great and told me not to mess with it anymore. I will try the other emulators as you have suggested. Plenty of tutorials are available on both of them. I will keep you updated.
  15. Trying to get full speed on PS2, Sega Dreamcast and Sega Saturn (all run slowly). Is my laptop powerful enough to run these at full speed or am I wasting my time tinkering with all the settings etc.? I have retroarch for DC and SS but PCSX2 for PS2. I have all the required Bios etc. but they run slowly. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance! DxDiag.txt
  16. Thank you to everyone that helped me on this issue. Only a couple of the platforms put up a fight. They were missing the system directory in the cfg.
  17. True but for systems with more buttons, you might need the button like R3 as a kick or punch instead of quitting RA etc.
  18. I use Hotkeys all the time for save/load states and exiting RA to get back to the menu without having to use my laptop keyboard, I like to use my controller for almost everything if possible. I use an XBOX 360 controller on my laptop.
  19. Nice! But what about Hotkeys? Those are my main concern. Btw, thanks for all of your help. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out!
  20. The reason why I wanted them was to program in the control scheme. Are you saying that we can just use the override instead? That's something new. I didn't know about that. Also, how do you make an override file? Just by editing the core.cfg like I did to make the ps1 work now?
  21. Adding ^ line worked! So, the question is, why doesn't RA create that line on new cfg files anymore?
  22. Thank you for what info that you gave me. What I did didn't help (wiped out LB and re-installed). I will try the things you just suggested, I'll keep you updated.
  23. Still black screen when I have that command line in Launchbox for any system that has Bios. Should I wipe LB out completely and try that?
  24. I am wiping out and re-installing Retroarch right now. I'll keep you updated, The thing that gets me is that it works fine out of LB (ie: In RA alone everything is fine).
