  1. I found the YouTube scraper shortly after I posted! Thanks for the advice. I thought I deleted the other post, obviously didn't work! Sorry! edit: YT Scraper doesn't work, it fouls LB from starting!
  2. Hi All, Ive just started adding a few PC Games to launchbox, it obviously finds all the Artwork from the Launchbox database, but no video gameplay snips from EmuMovies, I guess for obvious reasons, its not emulation. Does anyone know where to get video snips for PC Games? Thanks Dmn1981
  3. Legend! Thanks mate... Its the simple things! Thanks all
  4. FYI i followed this test, and it launches fine.....
  5. The ini file is in the main directory as per the OP. I generated the ini file via the cmd prompt using mame64.exe -cc..... The ini file had already generated when i launched Mame separately, before i found this thread, so i deleted them and followed the OP instructions.... Thoughts?
  6. Hi Guys. Finally got round to setting up my Launchbox set up, and also finally attempted Mame! However, it won't launch Mame from within LB which I know has been an issue for a number of people. I'm currently using the latest Mame 0.201 and a Merged 0.201 rom set. I followed the opening post with regards to the .ini file, which was to run a cmd prompt and run mame64.exe -cc, which it indeed created in the .ini files in the mame folder. I've checked launching a Mame rom from Mame standalone, and it launches OK. What else can I check, as I'm sure I've done everything from the OP. Thanks dmn1981
  7. I've downloaded the Kodi Addon that is linked from the Launchbox forums, so it's the one I used before. Will reach out to the Dev and see if he can tweak the addon. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. That is correct. I'm using Winaero Tweaker rather than task scheduler, which effectively does the same thing. It creates a shortcut of the .exe file and elevates the privilege I'm using the Bigbox Addon, which I assume is the same as I used last time, unless this is an addon developed by another dev? In the settings for the path to the Bigbox location, I can only select an executable file, therefore and elevated shortcut can't be used. What's the link to the official Launchbox/Bigbox Kodi Addon, and I'll double check what I've got.. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

  10. It's never caused me a problem before, and having the UAC prompt come up, really takes away from the fluid integration of BB and Kodi... Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Hi All, I had the LB and BB addon configured with Kodi a few months back, and I had to elevate the privileges on LB and BB using Winaero Tweaker, which creates a shortcut which I pointed the addon to as the location. I've installed a fresh install of Kodi (16.1), and installed the addon again. However, when configuring the settings and entering the location of BB in the addon, it only gives me the option to select an executable, ie. Bigbox.exe. This means each time I launch BB through Kodi, I get the UAC prompt to approve the application to open. I'm not going to reduce the UAC settings, as it's there as a security feature in windows. I've tried setting the application to always run as administrator, but that doesn't seem to work. is there a way to set the location of BB in the Addon settings, that allows you to select a file that isn't an executable? So using Winaero Tweaker, it creates a shortcut of BB, which is a .Ink file. Any help here would be appreciated, without disabling the UAC feature!. Thanks Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. Yes I did and it didn't work. I've sorted it now, I'm using a program that you can elevate privileges for individual applications. So I've elevate LB, BB and PCSX2, all launches without UAC prompts now... Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. Hi Guys I've just configured PCSX2 and added it to LB. When I try and launch a game, I get the Operation requires elevation error message. I know this is to do with User Access Control, and I've already set PCSX2 to 'run as admin' under the properties, and I've even changed the UAC settings to not notify of any changes, yet I still get the error message. If I launch PCSX2 standalone, it opens straight away after changing the UAC settings to not notify. Any ideas? Thanks Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
