  1. Ok awesome. Question about it though. how does it convert them to 4:3? Does it take the whole video and kind of scrunch it? Because that isn't what I want. I just want the black bars to be trimmed off my 16:9 video. Many hacks I am making videos for are NES SNES GEN N64 so I don't want it scrunched. Just basically what is the best way to make a snap like all the snaps we have from these awesome communities. The way I am doing it is just too time consuming. I am recording through GeForce Experience and then putting the video in Adobe Premiere and clipping the black bars off. Definitely will use your method if it doesn't scrunch it all down and actually just crops the black bars off.
  2. I’m making snaps for all my hacks and fan mades. What I’m doing is recording using my Nvidia built in recorder, then editing that 16:9 video down to 4:3 so it fits correctly (unified retried). There’s got to be a better and faster way to start pumping these out. just curious what is the best way to make 4:3 snaps?
  3. I'm not sure if it works on ePSXe either sorry. I was just wrongfully assuming you were using Retroarch. PBP definitely works great using mednafen core. Just got tired of dealing with all the bin/cue. @damageinc86 Hey, I'm sorry. I'll have to let you know what happens on a disk switch in a bit. About to dive in to some of the RPGs this fall/winter. Asked my brother who plays a lot of psx and he said if he is remembering correctly you either have to do nothing on a disc switch, or at the very least you need to go in to the Retroarch menu > Quick Menu > Disk Control. Then you click Disk Cycle Trey Status, then put Disk Index at 2 (or whatever disc you are on) then Disk Cycle Trey Status again and you are good to go. What is dome damageinc? @mviars PS1 iso to PSP file converter? what does that even mean?

    LB image question

Pretty sure the answer is no but figured I would ask. Is there anyway to keep my boxart, screenshot etc named the exact same as my rom file? i know it pretty much does this to begin with but it adds like -1 to each file. No big deal, only curious because I like to fool around with RetroPie builds while cheating on LB/BB and the scrappers for that got nothing on LB/EmuM. Also because it’s much easier to replace and override the pictures instead of editing the gamelist.xml
  5. If you are talking mainly PS1 I would look in to how to convert to .pbp files. I’m sorry I would link you but am on mobile right now. it is a pain in the ass if you have a huge library but what PSX2PSP converter does is takes your bin/cue files and makes them one .pbp file and also compresses it to save space. Other thing it allows you to do is take multi disc games and make them one .pbp file. So say FFVII, four discs, four cues, four bins and around 3.X gigs. After running it through PSX2PSP I just one FFVII.pbp file and about 30% less in size. It does take a long while and patients if you have a full set. I’ve actually been slowing converting my full PS1 set over and think, come this weekend I will finally be done. I Just do a hour or two a weekend. But very happy I did it. Just google PSX2PSP and I’m sure you’ll find it.
  6. Another super noob question that I know the answer to already, just get nervous at these times. Am I fine to Transfer my Launchbox folder to another hard drive? All of my roms/emulators/bios are all in different locations, not in Launchbox folder. Only stuff I have in Launchbox folder is all of my Image/manual/video artwork. I have Launchbox on my main SSD and I can see myself running very low on space since I am now scrapping for all video snaps and just further exploring all the image/video features of big box.
  7. Ok, thanks. Now one last question since I haven't started to explore playlists yet, that was next on my list. If I add all of the hacks from NES SEGA SNES etc to a Rom Hack playlist can I then hide the Hack platforms that I created? Just don't want that much on the wheel with no art and all that.
  8. Hey, sorry if this has been asked before but I can’t find a clear answer after searching around for a while. I’ve used Launchbox/Big Box for a few years now but I would say I’m definitely a nOOb and least at the finer details. Never went “all in” until a couple weeks ago. I’m a huge SMW hack fan, majority of what I play. But I have big hack/fan made libraries This has nothing to do with box art or backgrounds. I have successfully imported my hacks under different categories Hacks NES Hacks SNES etc. My question is, is there any way to make a “Rom Hack” platform category that would show up on the main platform wheel in Launchbox? Then when I select I could get my sub hack categories? Or any kind of similar suggestion? Any art is unnecessary, I’ll get to that someday. or just point me to the right thing to search around for? thank you
