  1. I am using launchbox 10.14 and was wondering if you could add missing cores to Launchbox's Retroarch core list, and if so how do you add them. Specifically I want to add the Parallel 64 and Higan cores. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  2. OK, thank you for the help. I will check it out.
  3. I am looking for a list of the commands that tell the emulators how to function. For example I know "-fullscreen" tells the emulator to start in full screen and "-nogui" tells the emulator to bring up the game window without the GUI menu. but those are the only two i know. I have also seen commands like "-b", and "-e" that I have no clue about. Is their a list that tells me what the commands are?
  4. I am looking for a list of DOS commands for Launchbox and what each one means. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Sounds good, I will switch to retroarch for TG-16 when 1.7.4 comes out.
  6. Thank you for all your help. I found out what the problem was. I read the Magic-Engine INI file and for some strange reason one of the options for the escape key was to shut the emulator down when being ran through a shell or front-end. I changed it to the INIs second option fir the Escape key which makes escape always bring up the menu and it works great now.
  7. I am having one other problem with the emulator though. When I launch it through Launchbox Magic-engine closes whenever I right click or hit escape to bring up the menu. I would change the hotkey for the menu in Magic-Engine but it doesn't have any options for changing the hotkeys.
  8. Thank you for your help, I figured out the loading problem. It has been a while since I used Magic-engine and I forgot it wouldn't load compressed files. I unzipped the game files and they loaded fine.
  9. I'm sorry I forgot to mention that I am able to load them directly. The roms and emulator work great when not using Launchbox. Those other emulators are great, but the reason I like Magic-Engine is because it's the only TG-16/TG-16CD/SuperGrafx, etc emulator with a cheat function.
  10. I know their are other emulators out for the TG-16, but magic-engine is my favorite one to use. My issue is this, whenever i double-click a TG-16 game in Launchbox Magic-engine opens but the game doesn't load. Is their some command lines I need to use for Magic-Engine that I don't know about in order the get the games to load when using Launchbox, or is Launchbox and Magic-Engine just not compatible with one another? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Yeah, it sounds to me like the old problem of when a program, especially an emulator is updated they fix some issues and cause new ones at the same time.
  12. That's strange lol. Thank you for your help.
  13. Thank you it worked. But for the sake of learning something new, why did it work. I didn't have to do that with the standard MAME.
  14. I am having a strange problem with MAME. Whenever I try to launch a rom through Launchbox MAME opens up and tries to load the rom but then gives me the dialogue box stating that it can't find such and such rom. I know the roms are there, because the folder has been scanned into launchbox and everything was added. Plus, if I open up MAME and load the roms without Launchbox they load just fine. I am using MAMEUI64. Could that be the problem?
  15. Cool I will check it out when I have more time.
  16. Man do I feel like an idiot LOL. I can't believe I overlooked that. Thanks for the help.
  17. I am unable to launch Retroarch through Launchbox to play Atari 2600 games. If I open Retroarch and load the games through it they work great. But, when I try to open them through Launchbox nothing happens. I will post a screenshot of my associated platforms window below, but I am sure it is correct. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  18. I am having an issue installing DOS games with Launchbox 8.2. I go through all the steps for installing the games through the wizard, but when DOSBox opens it has the error message "illegal command c:\launchbx.bat" and crashes. It happens with every game I try to install. I have installed games through Launchbox 8.2 before with no problem, so I know I am doing things correctly. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
  19. I am having a real big problem playing Gamecube games using Retroarch. The sound, video, and framerate is great. The problem is with the controls, The left stick on my X-Box 360 controller is controlling the analog stick and the digital pad at the same time like they're mapped to the same thing on the controller. For example when playing Windwaker and I push right on the left stick link moves right like he is supposed to, but it also brings up the map at the same time, and you should only be able to bring up the map by pressing right on the digital pad. I checked the controls in the Retroarch menu and no buttons or directions are sharing the same settings, so that is not the problem. Any help with this would be greatly apprciated.
  20. Thanx for your help guys, but I found the problem. I updated the Retroarch cores and it is working again.
  21. Bulk editing did not work. What is weird though, is when I right click on a game and select open retroarch it opens retroarch's main menu which tells me it is locating the Retroarch program it just will not load any games.
  22. I have not changed any of the Launchbox configurations, yet all of a sudden no games for any platform launch with retroarch. The game were running just fine until I updated Retroarch, and now they will not launch at all. I changed the path in Launchbox to pint to the new version of Retroarch, but that didn't help. when I double-click the game in Launchbox it shows the hourglass for a second but nothing loads. Retroarch runs fine when not trying to load it with Launchbox. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
  23. Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. Boy, do I feel like a dummy, LOL.
