I want to go back also. But i cannot find early versions. But i have saved the install of the stable version 7.9 on my computer. So i installed 7.9 and Retroarch and Mame works fine now. I also wait untill version 8.0 or something.

I now have update BigBox to 7.10 beta 3, and now Mame and Retroarch freezes also. Before those 2 emulators where the only ones that worked OK. But now all emulators freezes. I'm on win10, controller automation on, xbox360 controller and other controllers on. I dont know what to do anymore.

The specific emulators that freezes are Fusion and Project64, Epsxe... Actually alle the emulators except Mame and Retroarch, those 2 exit without any problems. I exit with controller automation. When i exit with esc on keyboard, no problems. If i exit with a hotkey in that emulator, no problem. But when i exit with controller automation in BigBox it freezes/hangs.

Yes i know, i also have the same problem. But when i put launchbox to fullscreen in settings, sometimes the problem is over. Maybe it helps? I only use Retroach, thats the only emulator that works with no problems.

Hi Jason, The same bug still occurs. But not with RetroArch. Retroarch works and when I quit the game BigBox won't freezes. But when I quit Kega Fusion or Project64 roms/games, Bigbox will freezes. Well not freezes, but it hangs in the that specifyk gamemenu, I cannot go back to choose other games anymore. Then I've go to task manager, en then Bigbox is working again. Very strange.

What OS you are using?? I've had the same problem with Windows 7. Now i updated Launchbox to 7.9 and updated my OS to Windows 10 and i've no problems anymore.

Did you update your romfiles to 0.184? Some roms won't work after updating Mame, and you have to update your romfiles to 0.184. Maby it helps. When you start Mame without Launchbox all the roms work?

Hey Jason. I've updated my system to Windows 10. And untill now i've no bugs anymore. I only have installed the Super Nintendo in Launchbox/BigBox, so i've to test it with other emulators and roms. But i think its a Windows 7 bug. I will test it later on and i shall post it here.

Ok thanks. Then i've to wait till the bug will be fixed in some newer beta versions.

Hi Jason, sorry but i wasn't be able to test it because i've had to work a lot. But i've updated Launchbox to 7.9 only the bug still occurs. I also did what you ask, to update to Beta. But launchbox says its on 7.9 no beta. So i don't no if iam on Beta or the stable 7.9 version. But i have still the same bug.

Wow, that's fast. So when version 7.9 is released then the bug is fixed? Or do i have to download the Beta version or something?

Maybe it helps i put my computer specs? Processor i7 950, memory 12gb, graphicscard Gtx 970. And i'm running on Windows 7 64 bit, directx 11. Xbox360 controller with the latest 1.2 drivers. Perhaps its an directx problem?

Thank you, but as you mentiont before, i've installed the latest drivers for my controller. But do you recommend an other controller, maby a 8bitdo controller or something like that? Because more people on this forum has the same bug like i do. Some talk about lost focus, others say it freezes, others say stuck on gamescreen. But its all the same bug. When exit with controller automation, BigBox go to the background, then you have to push ESC couple of times on your keyboard and when that won't work, you have to stop the BigBox.exe in Task Manager. And the most used controllers are the Xbox one/360 controllers. I hope you can figure it out. I'm now trying to set all my emulators up to exit with intern hotkey. Like Mame or Retroarch, you can setup a hotkey to exit with your controller. When i use that, Bigbox runs fine.

I am using a Xbox360 controller. I also try a Ps4 controller, but with both controllers i've got the same bug.

It happens to all my games. It happens with Snes9x, with project64, with epsxe, with Sega fusion. I think its a problem with autohotkey. When i use quit with xpadder, ive no problem. When i exit with the emulators ui ive got no problem. But when i use the controller automation in BigBox then all the games/emulator will get stuck at the games tittle screen. I think its not a playlist problem. I am a little bit a noob, and i dont speek english very well, im sorry. But ive paid 20 dollar, but ive not be abble to play with my setup, because i cannot exit properly. And when i use xpadder, ive to little few buttons left to play games, and install buttons with xpadder to quit my emulators. Very annoying.

I've got the same problem. But i've issues with all my emulators except Mame, because i exit Mame with cancel in Mame ui. But all the other emulators/games won't exit properly. I thought its because my Xbox360 controller. When i exit with ESC on my keyboard i've got no issues.

Hi, please can anybody help me with this problem? When i exiting a game/emulator within BigBox then BigBox freezes. I'm using a Xbox360 controller. Then i must go to Task Manager en go to process to quit BigBox.exe. After that BigBox works fine. But when i start a game and exit the game, it freezes again. Please help me.
