  1. In Bigbox 10.1, a playlist that filters for favorites does not get updated when a game is marked as favorite in Bigbox, until restart. The same when un-favoriting a game, it does not get removed from the playlist. I tested the same in version 7.11 and it works as expected. The weird thing is, that the Favorite icon is changed accordingly, but the playlist does not. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/5012/playlist-with-auto-populate-rule-favorite
  2. Installing 10.1 on my Win7 solved the issue. It installed .NET Framework 4.8 and everything is working now
  3. I'll be able to try tomorrow (in about 12 hours). Will post back with the result.
  4. Running on a Win7 64 bit with 4GB RAM and Core2Quad 2.4Ghz CPU. When Auto Update tried to update from 9.10 to 10.0 the installation finished but launchbox fails to start. Tried installing to a fresh folder, but its the same. Opened a bug with errors from event log here: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/5009/installing-v100-fails-on-windows-7-64bit
  5. Using Bigbox version 9.10 on Windows 7 64 bit. Theme: Four-By-Three In All-Games wheel, searching for a game that does not exist, causes an error window with this message: Value cannot be null. 6. I'm have an arcade cabinet with a CRT running BigBox with "Four-By-Three" theme I have only arcade roms imported, and configured BigBox to start in "All Games" list. When I use the search option (the one that pops a keyboard layout) and search for games (say I search for "mortal" to filter all the Mortal Kombat games), I cant find a way to go back to an unfiltered list, Except to exit back to the setting menu and select "View all Games". How do I return to an unfiltered list?
  7. Add the ability to change the "Default App" in BigBox. I recently had an issue that the default ROM for an Arcade game (punisher) was not the "main" game but one of its clones that did not work properly. The issue that Mame games do not "combine" under the main ROM is another bag of cats, and I have an open bug for it (https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/4066/mame-import-does-not-combine-clone-games). But in order to sort the current issue, I had to exit BigBox to the desktop mode and change the main ROM to be the Default App. It would be better if it was possible to change it in BigBox. I don't think it is possible now, and would like to see this feature. Opened a feature request here: https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/4097/change-default-app-in-bigbox
  8. Unlike other metadata, like name, file path, play count etc., the game image files paths are not located in an xml file, but rather (i guess) found on the fly whenever needed. Is it possible to get a list the image locations, the same way that the video path is listed in the audit? My endgame is to be able to convert my LaunchBox collection to a gamelist.xml format that retropie (Emulation Station) uses.
  9. No they are not. I took a better look at my old collection and found out that past me had the same problem, and I simply copied the "wheel" folder from a HyperSpin installation that I had previously, and now I have logos for all the games.
  10. I started importing my GBA collection to a new computer, and when attempting to download the Metadata and Media files in Launchbox, I noticed that many games (about 180) do no have the Clear Logo in the DB. I have another computer to which I've imported the collection few months ago, but there I do have the Clear Logos for every game. Is it possible that the images were deleted from the DB?
  11. I'm building a vertical arcade cabinet, and I'm using Bigbox as the frontend. Is there an option to set the various settings menus to fit a vertical orientation? Right now most of the text on the left side is cut.
  12. I noticed that each time I start a Sega Model 2 game I need to change the machine settings again. For example changing the machine type from "master" to "single" etc. Did some digging and apparently the AutoHotKey script for this emulator maps the Esc key to a Process Close command, which causes the emulator to be killed and not save the file. I changed the script to close the emulator gracefully, like so: WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}} So, far it seems to work just as well, and the file is being saved. I opened an issue for that (https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/3123/sega-model-2-emulator-ahk-script-fix) but thought I'll write it here too for any one having the same problem.
  13. Umm.. Ok.. What do I do in a case like this? Open a bug report?
  14. I indeed called the platform Arcade and use MAME. I did get some extra menus in the import wizard. As I said, I removed the check marks for skipping bootlegs etc. In the same menu I also selected to import clones disregarding the region. Was there supposed to be another menu for region selection? Furthermore, the rom that was eventually used as default is a bootleg, not a regional one.
  15. Where do I choose which version to prefer? In the import wizard I chose to import all, not to prefer certain region.
  16. I'm trying to import a full mame 0.185 split romset. I've unchecked all the "skip" options in the importer and also chose to import clones. I've noticed that for some games, the default rom under which all the clones are combined is not the parent, rather some other clone. For example, sf2ce is the parent rom for Street Fighter II': Champion Edition, but launchbox shows sf2acc as the default game. Any ideas?
