  1. Yes of course I went to Edit/Media, that is the only way I could find out that the marquee wasn't listed, but you can't download it if it isn't listed with a checkbox. Apart from deleting and reimporting, how do I get it listed ?

I have a suspicion that the marquee in question isn't tagged with a country version and it has to be specific for it to be listed. I just found changing N America to United States listed the marquee. So unless the version matches the media it looks like some things won't appear.

  2. For example my version of Sengeki Striker for MAME had no marquee downloadable from LB, but it existed on the website database . The only way I could download it was to delete the game and reimport it and the marquee shows and is imported. But that means reassigning to playlists etc. So if not all media shows on LB as on the website databse, how can I refresh the game in LB to show all downloadable options?

  3. When you're in BB and want to change the marquee etc you need to come out of BB and go to LB. There appears to be no quick shortcut for this unlike the opposite of CTRL B going straight from LB to BB. I'm making sure all my favs have great marquees on my 2nd monitor and going back and forth from BB to LB isn't as easy as it could be. Any help most appreciated even to confirm you can't do it.

  4. @neil9000 thankyou so much. I'm feeling like a right idiot now. Usually my OCD gets me through these things but must be failing with age.

I noticed that the spectrum did have the correct libretro spelling with an "R", so was thinking I'm going give the forum guys something else to think about.

But I forced myself to be a little bit more observant and saw the default Sinclair Zx Spectrum command line "mess_libretro.dll" is being downloaded as "fuse_libretro.dll" , and so made the appropriate change...

    All is well,

    thankyou all for your help!

  5. Thankyou @Retro808 but I did follow the tutorial meticulously.

The difference is your screenshots are not what the tutorial is about. He avoids the Nintendo Game and Watch platform and creates a custom Game And Watch platform.

That's exactly why I thought was creating the non-play problems.

But as the standard Spectrum doesn't work either, it's obviously not this issue.

Remember this works for me if I use retroarch with Genesis.

  6. So I've followed this tutorial meticulously a few times

     AND

, and still cannot get the games to load when clicking play.

They DO WORK if I go into Bigbox/Game/Retroarch/Load Content....

The only difference is my Retroarch is v 1.6.0 , but the tutorial is for 1.2.2 and there is no option to do at 4:58 "turn on configuration per-core"

    Many thanks in advance
