  1. Hi all, not sure if there's an easy fix for this. When I run in BigBox mode, a few of the categories in the main list are missing clear logos, ones like Installed ExoDOS games, ScummVM SVN, Apple IIgs Magazines, etc. I've tried different themes, but all seem to have just text for those sections. Any way to pretty that up with logos that hopefully someone else created since I have zero artistic skills? I checked the folders for those categories and their Clear Logo folders, they were empty. TIA
  2. Hi all, Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I prefer to use Boxes image group for showing images. Many of my DOS games only have screenshots. So, in options, under Box Front Properties, I have Box-Front, Screenshot- Game Title, and Screenshot- Gameplay checked, in that order, plus a bunch of others after that. But, choosing the Boxes group, I still only get images for the boxes, the rest is just blank tiles. I checked some of the blank tiles, they definitely have game title and gameplay screenshots in their directory. Here's the weird thing: I have a separate ExoDOS setup on another drive, with the same Box Front configuration...and it works exactly as intended on that drive. Any ideas what is preventing me from viewing both boxes and screenshots when no box images exist? Thanks for any help.
  3. Hi all, Is the PS3GameImporter tool still the best method to import all my PS3 games? Also, when you extract the zip, there's a root folder that has another PS3GameImporter folder and a Source folder. Am I copying over that root folder with the two subfolders? Or just the embedded PS3GameImporter folder? Thanks for any help.
  4. Hi all, I have a bunch of XBLA games but not sure how to add to LB. The files don't appear to have any extensions. Do I scrape them under 360 or is there some other category they go into? Also, will the scraper even recognize those files and if not, what do I need to do? Zip them up first or similar? Thanks for any help.
  5. Thanks for your help! I had tried it on Chrome and Edge on two different PCs, to my Outlook/Hotmail domains. Tried today to my business domain as well as GMail, worked fine. Went into the Hotmail settings and sure enough, for some reason, the launchbox domain was blocked, go figure. Problem solved, thanks again.
  6. Hi all, Is there any way to get the APK for this? I have entered 4 different emails from the download page (https://www.launchbox-app.com/android-download), not a single one has been sent. Yes, checked my junk folders, nada. Any help appreciated.
  7. Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked/answered. Is it possible to have ROMs for a single platform in multiple locations? For example, my current almost-full drive has maybe a dozen PS3 games but I want to add a ton more, requiring a second drive. Can I import those new ROMs but still have the old ones be seen in their original location? Thanks for any help.
  8. Hi all, Was hoping to get some advice from the experts here. My current setup is a 12 TB almost-full external drive that I can move around to the 3 computers that I use. However, to really get my collection to where I want it to be, I'm probably going to need a good 30-40 TB. Recently, a client of mine went out of business and was kind enough to gift me a 96 TB (!) server, 8 X 12 TB drives. So, I'd like to use that server to store LB and access it from each workstation. So, a couple of questions: 1. What's the best way to move the LB folder to the server and keep the paths intact? If I copy the entire external drive LB folder and give the server drive the same letter as the external drive, should it work out of the box? 2. If I decide to just do a clean install, what's the ideal configuration? Install everything on the server and just map it from each workstation? Install LB locally on each workstation and just put the ROMS on the server? Full install on server but image cache on each workstation? Something else? All devices are connected with Cat 6 and a gigabit switch. Appreciate any help with this, I've installed LB so many times I've lost count but with that amount of data, would want to make sure I do it right the first time. TIA
  9. Oh, great! I didn't think it would create the proper folder as the folder names are much shorter than the full game name in most cases, but it appears to create the proper folder name when I do that. Last question (I promise), once I do that, can the .zip files be deleted or archived to save space? Thanks again for the help.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to do this other than one game at a time? I have around 50 games in favorites, it would be nice if I could do a mass "unzip" rather than each one manually.
  11. Thanks...not exactly the issue I'm having but I will post in there for help.
  12. Hi all, Realize this isn't a LB question per se but was hoping from some advice from anyone that knows eXoDOS well. I downloaded the full 550 GB version and ran the setup.bat which took most of the day to complete. Here's the issue: every time I go to run a game the first time, it says it's not installed and I have to unpack the files. The folder structure is set up with .zip files in the eXoDOS folder (each zip has all the required files). There's a !dos folder inside the eXoDOS folder with a subfolder for each game, each of those folders basically just has a couple of .bat files that will run the installation and create the game folder in the eXoDOS folder. My question is: did I mess up the installation or is this the expected behavior? It would seem that every time I run a game, and it unpacks, I would no longer need that game's zip file. But, for every game, I get asked about aspect ratio and full/windowed...but I could have sworn I answered that during the main setup process. Any help appreciated.
  13. Hi all, Couldn't find anywhere if this has been asked/answered. I imported my ExoDOS database into LB. I prefer using the Boxes image group but for a lot of the games, no front box covers exist. Almost every game has screenshots, and while I know how to manually change individual images, there are literally thousands in ExoDOS. I saw a post from about 6 years ago where someone had a utility that could change the designation from screenshot to front box, but the link no longer exists. Is there some workaround for this, something where if no front cover exists it will show a different image group? Just tired of all those blank spaces! Thanks for any help.
  14. Hi all, I have a bunch of GS images that don't have an OS attached so I need to run them from the GS desktop with the second image added to the GS/OS image on boot. Some are really sluggish when I fire them up. Where would I put the -ramsize -8M command? My current command line is: apple2gs -sl7 cffa2 -noautosave -gameio joy -ramsize 8M -keyboardprovider dinput -hard2 "E:\eXoDOS_Lite\Games\AppleIIGSHD\GSGAMES.po" -hard1, is this the correct place for it, or does it not really matter what order things are in? Thanks.
  15. Checked everything, no override or other MAME entries. It's actually working fine now, I just had to get rid of the spaces in the folder name, that solved the problems.
