-
Og i hate this phone but i got it lol. Sorry if my last message was garbage.
-
This is terrible, anyway you can link me? Still on an incredibly small smartphone n using it to transfer what i need via usb.

Its just the one opening screen on 7. The problem im having with retroarch is anytime i load a game it saysthis application has requested runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Ugh.
-
Newest version. And i cant get the retroarch cores to load, i dont have wifi until friday.
-
Not sure. I have a high end gaming laptop (high as you can get in laptos anyways for gaming) so its nothing about hardware resources. Like i said the game runs fine, its just that opening. More of annoyance than anything.

Hello, I'm trying to run final fantasy vii with psxe. When i open the game, it works but the beginning "sony computer entertainment presents", is extremely slow. Like a 2 minute load. For about 4 hours now ive thought the game has just been crashing. But eventually, it does load and past that part the game works perfect. Cutscenes and all. Can anyone please help me with this?
-
I will do this, thank you. Strange i have the 32bit, i cant remember if i let launchbox provide me the link to it or not, or if i manually selected the exe off the website. Thanks!
-
Okay so you were right, after fooling around for aometime ive tried the 32bit and it was detected. This means i somehow got a 32bit retroarch install? I pretty computer savy and i dont see why id select 32bit. Anywho, will this harm me in anyway in the future? I do have 16gig ram. As of now it funtions 100% speed. Sorry for the grammar, typing on a tiny smartphone lol.
-
Yes im pretty sure.

Failed to load core, tried using retroarch. It pops up in cores but will not load it. I put the core in right folder, 64bit.
-
Dude your always the best

Help, long storyshort i have lost connection to the net on laptop andusing a very chrap smartphon haha. Can someone please upload the psxcore for retroarch on pc so i can download it with my android and transfer? Thank you and sorry for the spelling errors!
-
Awesome, much appreciated, I will use the standalone.
-
I figured I'd ask you instead of opening another topic. Do you know how to change the screen resolution in the PPSSPP core of retroarch? I can't seem to find the scale x part.
-
I'll give this 2005 core a try then try the stand-alone. I dislike having multiple emulators to be honest, even tho their miniscule in size.
-
What the crap lmao, I'm so used to seeing you, brad and ETA on youtube lol, forgive me I know who you are tho, you've been helping me since I joined here, sorry and okay, I'll give the 2005 a shot.
-
Okay and one last question brad, which core is the SNES9x_next_libretro connected too in Retroarch? The default core Launchbox selects.
-
What is the recommended core for low-end laptops? Again, I'm not really concerned with graphics. I'm sharing Launchbox drive with someone and I mostly use it for PC game and PS2, Gamecube etc on my laptop.
-
I have installed LaunchBox/Bigbox onto a third machine, one of the HP slim laptops. Performance with SNES emulation using Retroarchs cores is fine for one minute, then the next completely starts lagging until the system crashes/freezes up. Would emulation purposes be better with the standalone SNES9x .exe program? Please help! This is for a friend, my other 2 systems run flawless. I'm not really concerned with graphics to be honest, just fullscreen and stretch mode.

I decided to stop being lazy and do what took me less time than making the topic I googled a control sheet for a game and yes, most games use the rightmost button as "okay". Again, thanks!
-
About the best of your abilities I guess. Thanks.
-
Okay that's what I was most curious about. So it's normally for most SNES games to have the right most button as the "okay" button?
-
There is 4 buttons on the controller (not the D-Pad, the right side of the controller). In most games, the bottom most button is the "okay/accept" button and the right most button is the "back/cancel" button.
When I play most SNES games this is backwards. Is this how most SNES games are made or are my controls switched?
Extremely slow "sony computer presents"?
