hank you will try again later on, now that that I all over with finally I tried to update RetroArchs core. There was a few MAME one and I tried them all with little success. It only plays the very OLD arcade games, where games like Killer Instinct 1 and 2 will crash RetroArch. I would love to top bugging you all with this, honestly. I just don't know why I cant see to get MAME or RetroArch to work with this FE. RetroArch will not open Killer Instinct with any code selected I should mention. Any thoughts and fixes is greatly appreciated

ok so I have been waiting to update the info for RetroArch as my PC if looking at every game in my library to get the box art and such. I started this by going to tools than download metadata. It took forever (still going) and noticed a red link above the cancel button that said I had over 9000 errors and when I click on it I get the following: And if you were to go to the right at the very end stated the remote server returned and error ( 404 error). I am signed into emumovies and it tests the connection to that just fine......so again I am at a loss. PS sorry for being a PITA.

ok Arcade is there but whatever should be to the right of that is blank (which might also have been the reason MAME was not working). What exactly should go there?

OK I tried retroarch and I can get ROMs to play if I go into RetroArch itself and load it, but from launchbox I can right click and hit play and nothing happens. @Retro808 the roms worked just fine in HyperSpin launching from their FE.

I have artwork for MAME, all my other systems only have box art in launch box, but when I launch a game the art disappears. I just downloaded Retroarch and will try that as the emulator.....do I have to go into each Rom and edit them to run on RrtroArch?

TY, to fix my MAME issue should I get a different version of MAME? @Zombeaver any way you can tell me where I can get the version you have? My only fearis my ROM set might not work with it.

ok which bring me to another issue. I don't have any art for anything but MAME. And each system was input he same way with the wizard and I signed into Emumovies as well.

thank you. I am getting so much more help here then I did with Hyperspin. So far glad I switched FE's. While I keep working on this issue, Is there a good video that will help me get all the box art and videos I would need for Bog Box?

yes I told the wizard to leave the roms in their original place.

Every game, yet if I use the MAME IU and pick the same game and play from there it works with no issue.

The rom files are in the C drive, and I did not let the wizard copy them over as it asked I said to use the files in the current location. MAME knows where the roms are located and play them from the UI without problem. All other ROMs / Emulators work just fine with the same option in the wizard (however the images didn't work like it did for MAME). Here are the screen shots you were looking for:

I am getting two errors. The large error I get first, then after I hit ok I get the small error. I should add that I used the "wizard" to put in my rom path and emulator path and I am using MAME 152 as that is the ROM pack I have (and the Mame UI works well with this version)

Hello, IM having trouble with MAME. I can run everything from MAME just fine, but when I go into Big Box I get errors all over the place. Any Idea why this might be?
