In case anyone was wondering, Retroarch and Video settings, display was set to 60 hz but retroarch is seeing 52.xx

any ideas? Fresh install, imported my roms , music etc from previous version by replacing dirs. The theme music on game selection is spot on, but when i run retroarch , lets say for any system NES, ( nestopia core ) Retroarch my audio is all out of synch and blownt out. Is there a certain audio device selection in retroarch menu i should change to maybe?

I have various versions of Launchbox setup and most recently installed a fresh version of the latest release. I would like to take all the roms and artwork music and videos from another install i have ( older version ) and import them into the new version. How would i go about doing this? Is there a utility or feature implemented? Thanks in advance.

I've ran it both enabled and disabled. While slightly quicker with it disabled , it is still extremely slow. Roughly 4 hours for 700 snes backups.

I do not ever recall it being so slow. I'm going on 4 hours now for the SNES set , box cover only ( front ) gameplay screenshot, start screen. Is this normal? It was never an issue before.

I'm wondering if there is a tool to match rom names to video snaps? Specifically commodore amiga. I have all the screenshots and roms in place. I can see them in Bigbox. The video snaps i have for the content though do not match the rom names, so none of them play the snap video in bigbox.

also: In launchbox when i choose to download bigbox thematix video , where does this file end up? I have been downloading them but do not see them incorporated into the bigbox or launchbox.

Thanks for the reply , i notice i already have that directory , populated with videos for platforms , which show on the coinops arcade screen when selecting the system. I am wondering if there is another place or theme that would allow me to also additionally somehow somewhere add the commercial videos?

For instance , i have a set of TV commercials for the various platform. If i wanted one of these commercials to load up when i choose or hover over a platform where would i put the video and is any special naming convention used? What goes where ( manually ) in the launchbox directory structure? So far i have managed to import my collections , get box art in place using emu / LB DB , add the music for the games , add the gameplay videos.... But I'm missing little bits and pieces here and there.

I'm interested in purchasing a license. I would like to know if i have a choice for the name that is displayed on the screen itself. I ask because i recall reading a post about someone not wanting his real name displayed I believe at the top of the window... i may be mistaken. If possible I would prefer to have my handle/nick displayed as opposed to registered to ( my real name ). Or even having it registered to no name at all. I'm not even sure if it does display my real name upon registering but i would prefer for aesthetic purposes that it does not. Maybe I sound crazy. I don't mind if my name is in my registration details or inside the license itself... I just don't want to see a Registered to My Name at the top of the window or the screen. I don't mind if it shows my name upon loading on a flash screen.. I just don't want it branded on the main console. If i could make the purchase and have my handle show or what not it would be cool. thanks.
