  1. OK just did it, and made sure I checked the box to force importing as MAME. It didn't work, same exact situation as before. It's ok I guess. I wish it would work though.
  2. OK thanks so much man. But just so I know I'm doing this correctly, I go to Tools / Manage Platforms and delete Arcade? If I do that this box appears, it will delete my ROMs too? If it does that I have to re-upload the Arcade ROM set to Dropbox, ughhh.
  3. Yes LaunchBox is installed on my Dropbox, and this installation is my testing/monkeying around version. Once I sort out issues and settings, I have another installation on a 256GB SD card that I use. So, here is he full path: C:\Users\User\Dropbox\Emulation\LaunchBox\Games\Arcade, and LaunchBox.exe is in that LaunchBox path that I put in bold.
  4. Yes if I uncheck all boxes (like in the top of the three images), right-click and choose RetroArch, I still get "The ROM file you've specified does not exist". What does it mean?
  5. The settings below produces: "The ROM you specified does not exist": The settings below causes nothing at all, RetroArch does not launch. Even if I right-click a game and choose Launch With > RetroArch: The settings below also produces RetroArch to not launch:
  6. Thanks so much for the response man. Good idea, I got the FBA core, made the changes in LaunchBox, but now RetroArch does not launch when I try to execute an Arcade game, LOL. They launch fine in RetroArch though.
  7. Does anyone have any idea about what in LaunchBox causes an emulator (FBA) to launch in full screen?
  8. You guys have been very helpful on this forum, I appreciate it. My question is if I launch FBA directly (not via LaunchBox) it opens normally in windowed mode. If I launch an arcade game from LaunchBox, FBA will try to load in full screen, I can see the icon in my taskbar, however the game does not load. I think this has something to do with my "Default Command-Line Parameters"? That section is blank. Does anyone know what the issue is?
  9. OK sorry, won't direct link anymore. I tried what you said, didn't do anything. Look:
  10. Those guys, I got it running in LaunchBox using RetroArch. Now another issue. I have that "redump and verified" version, and also a translated version that I found on IsoZone. When I go to scan the .cue file in LaunchBox, it will take over the other one. So I cannot have both versions show up. Know of a way to fix that? The files are named differently, for example: Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (Japan) (FABT, FACT).cue Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (J).cue Moderator Edit: Removed direct link to download.
  11. Thanks, got it. I'm working at the same time, but will test soon Thanks so much for your help thus far.
  12. Ahh OK I see. Thanks so much for checking, now I know the dump is in fact good, and probably the best one out there if it's a "redump and verified". With that being said I don't really know how to setup RetroArch. I downloaded the "Beetle PCE Fast" core, scanned my NEC TurboGrafx-CD directory but nothing.
  13. Hey guys. So I recently found some "Reference Redump Validated ISOs" (if you google that, the first three sites that are listed should be one for Sega-CD, 3D0 and NEC PC Engine CD-ROM. So I downloaded the Akumajou Dracula X - Chi no Rondo (Japan) (FABT, FACT).zip file to test. It doesn't work. To make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong, or using a bad BIOS, I opened two versions of the same game that I've always had, and they worked fine. I tried this on two emulators, PCEjin and Turbo Engine. My two games worked on both emulators, but the "Redump Validated ISO" did not work. So, does anyone know anything about this set? It's exciting to see that they are "redumped" and "validated", but why don't they work?
  14. Very awesome. Very time consuming to make these I bet. Well worth it however no doubt. Any plans for SNES, Genesis, PC Engine, etc.? Also if you can make this original Metroid 3D box that would be great: http://www.retrogameage.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Metroid_NES-6.jpg
  15. Cool. I'm tempted to buy a 7th generation Intel but nah, I'd rather wait. I want to add 32GB RAM to it but it's like $350. 16GB should be plenty.
  16. I think I just need a new computer. I built it in 02/2013, has an Intel Core i3-3225 using the onboard graphics (Intel 5500 HD Graphics) with 8GB RAM. I have been waiting patiently for the Intel 8th generation NUCs to come out. I wish they would hurry up already. I plan on buying one, and putting 16GB RAM in it. Thanks again everyone for the help with this. I just discovered LaunchBox a few weeks ago and I love it.
  17. At the time of my post I had them stored on my Dropbox. However since then I started running out of Dropbox space, so I reinstalled LaunchBox fresh onto a Samsung Evo+ 256GB micro SD card. I didn't even see the RAM Cache settings in LaunchBox's options. I will increase that and see how it goes. Thanks so much for your response.
  18. Also the details window on the right, why does it always get re-sized?
  19. Hello everyone. Every time I choose a "Platform" on the left and then scroll through the list of games, it has to load the image. So I can scroll down to the middle or end for example and wait for all of the images to load. Is there any way to prevent this?
