  1. Ok thanks, is there an easy way to rename my Video Snap names to the Launchbox game or rom name please rather than doing each individually, as I have loads to do. I didnt seem to have this many missing videos in Launchbox before recent changes. Thank you for any help.

  2. Hi, I can confirm I have also had this issue on multiple platforms, where I have had to manually associate the videos by selecting the video snap. I have checked Manage Platforms and the video folders have not been changed. Again not sure if this beta ha caused it but it has only recently started happening. Thank you.

  3. Hi when i load Launchbox and select Tools and then Emulators i get the following error message:-

I was just trying to add an emulator. It appears it is searching for a file that is not on my computer, how can i reset/change that please? Thanks for your help

If you haven't opened and closed LaunchBox too many times you should have a backup of your arcade platfom xaml somwhere in the zip folder from before you deleted it. Might be worth having a look through those and seeing if replacing it helps bring it back.

Won't help with it not updating but at least it brings it back to where you were rather than leaving you with nothing.

Thanks yes I got my 0.248 romset back on Launchbox via a backup, but still can not update to 0.249. If anyone can throw any further light on this, it would be much appreciated. Thank you

If the emulator you're pointing us to isn't MAME (and the correct version for your romset) I can see this being an issue. We ask the executable to produce a xml file we use to parse the data for the games you're importing. If not an official MAME release that command may not work, or may output data in a format that could cause issues.

Hmmm I cant understand why it worked previously with no problems. I have been using Arcade64 for a while now and have updated on several occasions.

Simplest solution would be to just delete it and run it again (keep media)

Thanks for your reply. Just tried this and kept media. When i run import full set again same message of "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1531437, position 1", so no mame games at all now in Launchbox 😞

  7. Hi i am having issues when trying to update my Arcade64 to version 0.249, from 0.248. I updated my romset and have gone through the full mame arcade set importer but towards the end on the "Import MAME Arcade Full Set Wizard", whilst parsing, I get a message saying "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1531437, position 1".

I have pointed to the correct 249 romset folder and all the files are in there. This is the first time that it has happened to me and I have updated ok before. What am i doing wrong please? Thanks very much in advance for any help.
