  1. Is anyone aware of a database/xml/json file(s) that exists for the various consoles or platforms that is similar to the controls.ini file that's available for mame? Basically I'm looking for a per-game description that would detail what each button actually does. For example, I'd like to know that for the NES platform: Excitebike: A = Accelerate, B = Turbo Super Mario Bros: A = Jump/Swim, B = Accelerate/Fireball The reason I'm asking is because I'm creating a program that will display the controller layout and description on a secondary display on my arcade cabinet based on the selected game. Works great for MAME as I've been able to find files that provide the additional info but for consoles I'm stuck with generic controller labels.
  2. Upgraded to 8.6 a couple days ago and immediately wiped out my previous MAME/Arcade import and did a fresh, full-set import of MAME. i LOVE the clones as apps/right-click launch option but I'm having a huge issue - as soon as I restart Launchbox the clones show up as separate games. For example, after import 1941 would show up once with 3 clones/secondary apps associated with it but after a restart 1941 is listed 4 times. My Arcade list goes from roughly 2800 games to 7800 games. Makes it a bit of a pain to scroll through Is this a known bug or has anyone else experienced it and have a fix? I've tried it twice with similar results. Second time around I also didn't get platform-specific playlists (play system I, II, III) but maybe I unchecked that option during import...
  3. How about Q-Bert on the Classics list?
