  1. ...as a side note, there is nothing wrong with the theme. I dev it on my workstation and can pull it up in BB on the workstation and it works fine. It's when I transfer it to my racing cab, BB shows the new theme as the Default theme no matter what the theme is named.

  2. So I created a new theme for my racing cab. I copied the theme into the Themes folder and it worked fine. I decided to make some changes to the theme. This is where I think I screwed up. I deleted the themes folder from the Themes directory, without "uninstalling" it from within BB. I made the edits to the theme and copied the theme folder back into the LB/Themes folder and BB sees it as "installed" but if I switch to the theme it says it switched but it is really showing as the Default theme. I even tried renaming the theme folder and copying it back in but any new theme I select in BB, appears as the Default theme if I choose to apply it. Somehow I got BB thinking any new theme is the Default theme...not sure if I'm explaining that clearly. The other thing is if I choose "Manage Themes" in BB, it hangs for a long time and I usually get "The LB Server is not responding." Am I major hosed here or is there anything I can do?

    Thanks for any help.

  3. Hi, I am booting BB straight into Playlist view. I have some very specific (odd...) Playlists so ofc I don't have videos to show for them. So instead I've set BB to display random game vids instead. The problem is as I scroll through my Playlists, it does show the random game vids but it seems to only pick 1 game video & loop it over & over. I am looking to see if there is a setting to have it instead play a game video, then another & so on vs just playing the 1 vid?

    Ideally I'd like to have a setting to set the amount of time the game vid plays, before moving to the next vid. I can submit that request on bitbucket if needed.

    Thanks.

    @Lewis74 Would you be willing to share your JoytoKey settings? I did a quick setup and got the Wheel and Gas pedal mapped to Keyboard buttons. It worked great for BigBox navigation, but it screwed up in-game controls.

    Getting the wheel & pedals to work is doable. Getting them to be usable is another story. The wheel is very "digital ". We need proper analog controller support.

    If you try navigation with axes on a wheel for a while, you'll find that it's really annoying and you don't really want that (or at least that was my experience). Which is why the wheels come with D-Pads for directional navigation.

    Jason, for dedicated racing cabs navigating the games with the wheel is pretty important along with select/back using gas/brake pedals. I have it all setup on mine and working with my G29. The issue is wheel navigation is, as you say annoying. Navigating with the wheel is more like a digital input...when it hits that certain point the wheel takes off very fast. I think what would be nice is some kind of "smoothing" for analog axis. Not sure if I'm using the correct term? I remember back in the old Hyperspin days there was some kind of sensitivity setting or something like it that could be adjusted...it was for navigating the wheel with a trackball and it actually worked pretty good. You adjusted a slider to "tune" the scrolling to your trackball.

    Ideally navigation would be slow with the wheel turned a bit and fast with the wheel turned further.

    Just my 2 cents. I navigate with the Dpad and select/back with a/b button or gas/brake and it works. Using the wheel would just give that wow factor.

    Cheers

  6. On my racing cab. Playing some Dreamcast games from BB, noticed a few things missing so I back out to the menu and switched to LB. Made the edits to a few games (just added ratings for a few games that were missing them), Ctrl+B back into BB and now Dreamcast is gone. Dreamcast shows up fine with all games in LB and I can launch games with no problem. Is there some kind of "hide platform" thing now that maybe got switched?  I've tried to edit the platform in LB and don't see anything.

    Thx.

  7. Jumping back into LBA after a minute, wow looks/works great.

    Having an issue launching PSP games. PPSSPP reports file does not exist. Game launches fine in PPSSPP directly. I see where the emu is reported as a problem with launching games directly via LB but it indicates this is for Android 11+, my STV is on 9.0.2.

    I read a post about an Nvidia FW hotfix but it was from a few Android versions back...is this convoluted procedure still required?

    Nvidia STV (2017)

    Android 9.0.2

    LBA 1.2

    ROMs stored on USB drive - can browse to the file fine in both file explorer and LB

    Thanks...Piper

  8. Is there way, or can it be added...some exclusion logic for auto-generated playlists?

    The issue is, for example I setup a playlist of Mario Games. So I set the inclusion logic to [Title contains Mario]. It captures all the Mario games, but it also captures things like Mario Andretti Racing, etc. I know I can manually delete these but it makes the playlist static at that point and I would like to keep the playlist dynamic. Some very simple exclusion capability would fix this.

    Thx...Piper

  9. So I'm using Unified Refried. It's perfect for my setup. I have some platforms that are for mods & hacks. The view I use is Vertical Wheel 3. I like this one bc it displays box art and a spinning disc. The issue with it is, it displays Community Star Ratings which ofc mods & hacks don't have. I would like instead to display just Star Ratings for my mods & hacks platforms. So I can do this by changing...

    <Binding Path="ActiveGame.CommunityStarRating" />

    to

    <Binding Path="ActiveGame.StarRating" />

    ...and it works great. The issue is that I use this same view for my regular platforms and so it doesn't show the Community Star Ratings for those.

    So, what I want to do is either...

    Modify this view xaml so that it will show Community Star Ratings if available, or if N/A then show Star Ratings.

    or just make a copy of this view and just change it in the copy and have my mods & hacks use the modified view (I have separate views for platforms on).

    I tried to make a copy of the view and just named it Wheel5GamesView.xaml with the modification but it doesn't show up in the select view dialog and I just don't know enough about theme design to know what's going on.

    Anyone can help a brutha out with what to do here?

    Thx....Piper

  10. Hi, yes it's a 220 set. it's just a few hundred games hand picked so i've just stayed with that. i did for shits & giggles grab the latest 238 mame and tried and still had audio stutter. ive tried d3d, opengl & auto on vid backend and all stutter. it's not terrible but def noticeable. it's just that it's on these little nothing games that it's doing it. typically audio stutter can mean the cpu is struggling but we're talking pacman and digdug lol. i run them via lb/bb, just launching direct from mame to work this kink out.
