  1. I've used the same bat to compress Playstation Bin/Cue to CHD and they seem to work fine. Is there an equivalent bat to reverse them back to Bin/Cue?
  2. Can you compress ISOs using this bat file/CHDMAN?
  3. No easy way to do this that I know of. I did mine a little bit at a time. Opened MAME in Windowed mode, alongside an explorer window inside the roms directory. Gradually went through the alphabet, deleting chunks at a time, till I ended up with what I wanted to keep. I still have many versions of the same game (Think SF2 versions) because I OCD over MAME Dev changing up parents/clones etc. With CLRMAME, I guess you could load the datfile and go through its list, unchecking what you don't want, then running a scan making sure "uneeded" is checked. Make sure you have a backup of your sets as its very easy to wreck your collection with CLR. You might be able to find a datfile for CLR that will allow you to easily wipe the unwanted categories from your collection.
  4. I was noticing that Nintendo's Tetris was getting lumped together with Tengen's version and thought I would make some corrections. After making those proposed changes, I came to realize that there was an entry in the DB for Tengen's version that LB wasn't finding, presumably because the wording was off with my roms. Tengen's version is under Tetris: The Soviet Mind Game. So now there are some incorrect changes pending. I know the changes have to be voted and approved, but it would be nice if one could actually withdraw the changes beforehand and just note the reason. Thanks all!
  5. I imported my Dreamcast games and it separated MvC2 v1.001 and v2.000. Same with Soul Calibur and a few other various games... Is there a way I can merge them into a single listing? It would be nice if you could drag one game over the other to merge, similar to the way you combine app icons in iOS. Using LB 8.5
  6. Thank you both. Those were the solutions!
  7. Blind as a bat, I am. I wasn't seeing the version selection because the duplicates were set to show. For some reason, I didn't see the duplicate games in the main selection screen. Thats fixed now Any clues as to what I'm not seeing in regards to my PC-Engine games not importing art work? Thanks again for everyone's help so far!
  8. Hi, Other than "view game folder" selection in the right-click menu, there are no listings for the different roms versions. IMO, the FE should condense the various rom versions into one facing game and then present a rom version selection list once the particular game is selected. Diving into the filesystem to pick a game is counter to the goals of an FE. Please don't take these as complaints. Just making usability observations, that all. Overall, this is a great FE
  9. Understood, but it’s not a very elegant solution. There are reasons to keep different versions of the same game. The FE arbitrarily hiding some of them without a real easy way to select versions isn’t ideal. Preferrably, a simple drop down menu or list of versions being presented after clicking on a game would be nice
  10. Launch box will group versions of the same game together. I see an option to separate them which forces multiple versions of the same game to be visible. Is there are way to have one visual representation of each game but allow you to select which version of a game to run after clicking the desired game? I set Ootake as my PC Engine/TG16 emulator and use no-intro Roms. I’ve imported the games but launchbox isn’t importing any box art or anything. What did I do wrong? Thanks all!
