Uh oh - After i edited retroarch core options in notepad (and reverted back), Retroarch is no longer booting up at all with any N64 game in Launchbox, and wont boot when right clicking to load it without game. Strangely, NES and SNES games run fine and Retroarch runs when booted from its orginal folder. Any idea what i've broken?

Anyone get Star Wars : Rogue Squadron (N64) working on Retroarch? - tried with mupen and parellel, and different ROMs, no dice.

Just seen it on Steam, and looks like its been on my wishlist for some time -- if i wasnt going through an emu obsession, i might consider it! Saw Ikaruga in an arcade last week, so thought i'd check it out anyway.

Yep something in red/white about ROM/CHD not being dumped properly, first time i've seen it. Will give it a blast via Dolphin instead if its near enough the arcade, thanks.

Anyone have Ikaruga running on MAME? Getting wierd echoing sound and distorted (blue-yellow stripes) opening screen. I have the ROM and CHD in same folder, but not sure if i've missed something else. Does it run best in Retroarch -- if so, which core?

i'm trying out parallel with AngryLion atm...i can see there are quite a few AA shaders -- not sure which best, but text is unreadable so far (Mario 64)

interesting... can you say a little more about the 3D settings? what do you set the internal resolution to - is this on RA? i cant see AA on retroA-> Video settings. (I have a 1920x1080, 3.20GHz, i5 and gtx970 if that helps)

Could someone make a recommendation for Retroarch (are there others?) shaders worth checking out for each platform? My current go-to is pixellate but wondering whether this best for the earlier platforms such as NES, wondering whether there's others better for later ones, N64 etc.

I thought the Steam Link only allowed streaming of games within the Steam library. Is this not true or there a workaround for this?

Having gud fun with Atic Atac for ZX via Retroarch - anyone know if you can map Z (for pick up item) to the controller? only alternative is to use select for keypad but can get you killed easy.

Anyone have luck linking PC in another room with LB running, linked up to a TV with potentially 2 remote controllers? I've got a Firestick and Chromecast if you can do it with them. I could do with some controller suggestions too. Thanks

Looks like its implemented in BB somehow. I've just discovered RetroAchievements which looks cool -- would be nice to see a little icon in the description, as to whether there are achievements associated with the game or not (a neon RA or something), unless this is already there somewhere.

Is there an icon on LB which indicates whether a game has been completed? And how long spent on each game? It would be nice to see a "Completed game in x credits" for arcade.

I see that there was once (2017) a tool called Lightspeed that sorted MAME ROMS into system, but that it is not recommended because the author is inactive. I also see that LB can do this... So, could someone kindly guide me (or link) to how, once i've imported ROMS, how i can sort/relabel them (e.g. via BulkEditWiz) into CPS 1/2/3, NeoGeo and other? Also, correct me if i'm wrong, will ClrMamePro let me remove the clones of my roms (e.g. japan version) to reduce the actual file size, or will it only combine them (keeping file size the same)?
