miles720 Posted May 3, 2014 Author Share Posted May 3, 2014 I recently added hundreds of nes roms to launchbox, and the "Platform" attribute of the metadata got all mess up. About half of the games got put under "NES" and the other half are "Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)", so when i arrange by platform my nes games are split. I could go and edit each game to put them all under one platform but that would take hours. It would be very helpful and time saving if i could select all the games that are "NES" and edit them to be "Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)". Jason Carr Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Hi miles, thanks for the note. Yeah, I have batch edits like this on my to do list for sure. In the mean time, I'm not sure how comfortable you'd be editing the XML file, but you could open up the LaunchBox.xml (in your LaunchBox folder) file in a text editor and do a search and replace to batch fix the items. Just make sure you close LaunchBox and make a backup of the file before editing it, just in case something goes wrong. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
