Ragadorus Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 For those of us that have PC games that require the disk to be inserted - in my case, Oblivion, as the latest version still needs a disk and I don't have it on Steam - we can use applications to create an ISO of the disk and then mount it in a virtual drive, to tell the game that the disk is inserted in a drive. Of course, this is kind of a pain to have to do whenever I want a play session, so I was wondering if it would be possible to use the 'Additional Apps' feature to have WinCDEmu mount the .ISO file prior to launching the game. Jason Carr Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Indeed it is possible, Ragadorus. I have not done it with WinCDEmu, but I do it with Daemon Tools without a problem. Maybe someone else can chime in on WinCDEmu. Quote
ashurasai Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Years and years later, using WinCDEmu just use the "batchmnt <image>" or "batchmnt64 <image>" to mount your image and then use "batchmnt /unmountall" to unmount it afterwards. This program can be found in the same directory as WinCDEmu. Source: https://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/tutorials/cmdline/ Quote
