apacheark Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Hi all! I am a new Launchbox user. I followed the YouTube tutorial to install Launchbox, project64 and a couple of N64 games. Launchbox 5.5 starts up fine and I see the 2 games. If I start either one, I get the following error. While Project64 starts fine and I can play the games, Launchbox crashes out. I am really looking forward to getting this working so I can get the premium upgrade!! Any ideas? Thanks! ---------------------- START ERROR ---------------------- System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.Enumerator.MoveNextRare() at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereSelectListIterator`2.MoveNext() at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereSelectEnumerableIterator`2.MoveNext() at System.Collections.Generic.List`1..ctor(IEnumerable`1 collection) at System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl.SetBackgroundImage(Game game) at LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl.b__63_0() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() ---------------------- END ERROR ---------------------- Quote
Jason Carr Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Hi @apacheark, welcome. I believe that bug has been fixed in the latest beta. Can you check the box to upgrade to beta releases in the Options and give it a try? Quote
apacheark Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 Thanks for that quick reply. I did update to the beta but I am getting this error: System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute. at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowInvalidOperationException(ExceptionResource resource) at System.Collections.Generic.List`1.Enumerator.MoveNextRare() at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereSelectListIterator`2.MoveNext() at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereSelectEnumerableIterator`2.MoveNext() at System.Collections.Generic.List`1..ctor(IEnumerable`1 collection) at System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl.SetBackgroundImage(Game game) at LaunchBox.Controls.ImageGamesControl.b__63_0() at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx) at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state) at System.Threading.ThreadHelper.ThreadStart() Quote
Jason Carr Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 I know this is from a LONG time ago but I'm going through my massive backlog of bugs to fix and this one came up. I do believe this was fixed in a previous beta; let me know if you're still seeing this issue. Thanks! :) Quote
