Blusky Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hello ! I'm using launchbox, for an Arcade Cabinet and I'm loving it. However, my Steam collection has more than 800 games, and 90% of them are not meant to be played with Arcade controller. I can see that Launchbox is using Steam API in order to import available games, so 90% of imported game are just junk in the UI. But I think there is a better solution. If you go on the folder "steamapps" where you installed steam ( %programfiles(x86)%/Steam/steamapps), some files are named "appmanifest_XXXX.acf", where XXXX is the UID of the game. Would it be possible for launchbox, to add an option for only importing games with such a file ? It would make the frontend more awesome than it is today :-) Thanks in advance ! Quote
Jason Carr Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Hi @Blusky, we actually used to import games that way but it was very problematic because Steam doesn't do a good job of maintaining those files. I wish there was a better way to work with installed Steam games but we haven't found a good way yet. Quote
