As far as I can tell I have set up my buttons on my controller to exit emulators correctly.  I can exit Sega 32X (Fusion) without issue by holding Start and pressing Select.  However, Dolphin just ignores me.  I've tried both start/select and left-thumb/right-thumb and neither are working for me.

Anyone else have this issue or can provide some guidance?

TIA!

I'm having this issue also. Just recently too. I have Rocketlauncher set up to to exit Emulator using left and right thumbs. It works on all my system except Dolphin.

Wish I could help with this but Select + Start (Back + Start) works just fine to exit Dolphin for me.

My Dolphin setup is pretty much stock out of the box except for a couple of minor graphical tweaks like resolution and controller setup.

Only thing I can suggest is to look in the Options menu > Hotkey Settings and check that Stop is bound to Escape.

Escape still works to exit Dolphin.  I use Synergy as a client/host so I can use the KB on my laptop to control my HTPC (when needed...like installing new games) since it does not have a KB/Mouse attached.

I think I figured this out but haven't had time to confirm.

I saw the same behavior in Rocketlauncher.  What it turned out to be (at least with RL) was that I set the Dolphin EXE to run as administrator in Compatibility.  Once I set it back to stock, it exited as expected.

I'll try LB tomorrow.
