Charco Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 So after all the configuring over the past month I finally played some games this morning. I noticed that when I exit back to Big Box the game and platform videos do not play. Big Box hangs even though I can hear the menu sounds in the background. The only way to get it back to normal is to exit the application and restart. This has happened with RA Nestopia and RA FBA cores. Should I increase the RAM cache or something? At the moment it's not usable. Quote
Charco Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Ok, I increased my RAM cache to 2GB and this time when I exited to Big Box I chose to quit RetroArch from the xmb menu in RA instead of using controller automation and pressing Select + Start to exit. No slowdowns experienced and all videos displayed correctly. Could it be that RA is not exiting cleanly when I exit this way? Or was it the increased RAM cache that helped? Quote
