Marcos Saraiva
Hello all, First, i'd like to say thank you for this great frontend. I've been following the emulation scene since 1995 and this is one the best things that appeared since then. I've been managing my collection with the Launchbox stable version (6.12) without any issues, but since i read that the latest beta included a feature i was really eager to use (scan for added roms), i've decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it's completely broken for me. Once i launch it this is what i get: And this is the cpu usage: I suppose the two things are related, the cause being the cache being rebuilt. But i left it overnight and it never finished. Tried deleting the image cache, disabling RAM cache, but it didn't work. Only solution is to rollback to 6.12. Has anyone faced a similar problem? Edit: Forgot to say that trying to open the "options" screen locks up the UI thread and i have to kill the process. Jason Carr
Odd, sorry for the late reply here @Marcos Saraiva. Try increasing the image size on the right of the bottom bar. I'm wondering if maybe the image size is set too low. Your screen DPI setting is higher than the default, which could be causing the problem. The biggest issue is that Launchbox constantly uses around 50-60% of the CPU (that doesn't happen on the current stable version) and the UI thread locks up completely if i try to do anything, like entering the preferences menu. I'll try with the latest beta and report back.
Jason Carr
Yes, I'm wondering the image size is related to that issue.
