Using a controller in LaunchBox has existed for years actually. You turn it on in the options, but LaunchBox uses a controller in a rather clumsy way, Big Box is the controller oriented side. All you need to do is go to Tools -> Options -> Gamepad / Joystick on the left.

yea i have big box unfortunately my TV doesn't want to recognize my NVIDIA graphics card and gives a "no signal" message.  The on board intel card isn't powerful enough for big box so I'm stuck using launchbox only for now.

Try updating all your drivers with this. Let it run and update anything out of date. Otherwise, even if it's an older GPU, if it's using HDMI there should be little issue, even with VGA it should be good to go. Make sure they're all updated and you have Geforce Experience. I use that to upgrade my drivers when I don't want to scan my whole system, but that software is a life saver.

ill give it a shot it doesn't seem like a totally uncommon problem.  I've searched online and found lots of people with the same issues.  unfortunately no one seems to have an answer as to why it happens or how to fix it.

My thought is drivers need updating. Just like with everything else when it comes to tracking down issues, it's a long process of steps and most of them may not do anything. It's a really good idea to be updated, but yea. It could be the GPU, the cables used, the TV, the ports, the drivers, the OS, I mean... a lot of different stuff can be the culprit.

so it's working now but when I shut it down went back to the no signal until I unplugged and plugged it back in.  It has to be something with the TV and computer communicating with each other because on my other TV it works fine but there is a shit ton of overscan so I don't want to use that TV.  UGH!

Are you using a newer TV and the older GPU? The TV could even need a firmware update if it's a new enough TV. We have a few that I've updated in the past, that's partly why they have USB ports on them now.
