Rudy
Hey everyone. My game collection and folders are starting to get a little unruly. Is there a way to make LaunchBox automatically move my roms into its directory? Edit: That's over with, now I have another question. Why is LB renaming my roms to have "-1" at the end of them? SentaiBrad
If you're letting it move things, and it's moving games to it's directory where it already has a game, then it'll append -1 too it so that there's no name conflicts. However, I wouldn't suggest having LB auto-move all of your systems. If you move a system like Arcade, or multi file games like PS1 games, it'll only move the files that it's importing and not all the other needed files. So you should manually move things first, then do the imports.

SentaiBrad
Sorry, just to make clear, I would not suggest letting LB move everything automatically. I updated my post.

I updated my post. Yeah, I can see why. Thing is, I moved everything manually, then when I went to import, I chose the option to have LB move some things, not knowing any better. Oh well I guess I could batch rename the ROMs. Any way to quickly update the games in LB without importing all over again?
SentaiBrad
The easiest way is to re-import, but to uncheck all of the media boxes. So delete the games, run the import process again, and on the two media screens (the one for the LaunchBox Games Database and the next one for Emu Movies), press the uncheck all buttons. All of your media will automatically re-attach, but not download, so the import will go much faster.
