Disable BIg Box Splash Screen?

IS there a way to disable the splash screen in big box, or speed up its startup time?  I ask because I launch big box from an external program, and the splash screen really doesn't do much for me

To disable the splash screen load up BigBox and then go to Options > General and turn off "Show Startup Splash Screen".

As for startup time this will be affected by your system speed and game library.
