fordgt68
Have been adding C64 game titles to the LaunchBox Game Database which seem to be going fine until today. When accessing the some of the game information that I entered previously and the moderators approved this error appears. Any idea? Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. fordgt68
Seems to be hit and miss on the page (game title) and not just Commodore 64 but other consoles / computers as well. Got a friend on another computer to try to see if it was my computer but they had the same problems. Listed is just one page with this problem: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/81692 But this page works fine: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/41679 Not sure whats happening. Thanks
Vlansix
Aye. It's an issue caused by a bugfix I applied last night. I'll have it fixed in a few minutes here :). Will advise once it's up.

fordgt68
Working perfect! Great job. Glad to help where I can. Not sure if you are the right person to ask but: I have been entering a lot of C64 games into the database recently and several games have the same name but completely different games example: Aftermath - https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/86717 and Aftermath - https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/86718 Just had a though. Will this confuse LaunchBox when users do an Import of ROM files when it's trying to determine which game title is which? Likewise if users already have the game in their collection and wish to Edit and import more multimedia. Some other users have placed Software companies in brackets in the game title example: Aftermath (Alternative Software). Personally I think this is messy. So my multimedia doesn't get confused I have attached the game code number after the file name eg. Aftermath.53ca2ffd-6413-43ef-a68c-62d7703ff946-01 and Aftermath.b4b780a6-f2d1-44d3-b7e9-9508ec225f39-01 for multimedia files respectively which works well. I have been uploading the files in the Games Databases the same way to help other users. I'm only up to "A" in the C64 games list and working through to "Z" (probably year 2020 joke :-) ). I'm I creating a problem doing it this way or is there a better way to handle duplicate game titles. Just want to make sure before I continue to far and wreck a great system. Great work all at LaunchBox.
