DosBox Freezes on loading Psycho Pinball

Hi,  I'm a newbee when it comes to dosbox and launchbox, but I've managed to import/install a few dos games, such as heretic and quake etc.  I'm having real issues with psycho pinball.  everything seems ok, but on load, it just hangs on the DOS/4GW.  Any ideas?

Okay, check one thing for me - go to your library entry for Psycho Pinball and right-click on it and select Edit (or press CTRL+E). What is the .exe that you're using for the game in the Launcher tab? It should be _P_.exe. If it's something else, click the browse button and choose _P_.exe.

One other thing I forgot to mention - the game data has to be located in a folder named "PSYCHO", and the "root folder" in the "folder" tab needs to be set to the folder one level up from that. That's really important because if the folder is set to the "PSYCHO" folder itself, it won't work.

I keep all my DOS games in a path of X:\Emulation\DOS\[game title] so in this case I've got a path of X:\Emulation\DOS\Psycho Pinball\PSYCHO. Normally the folder named after the game title (Psycho Pinball) would contain the game files, as most DOS games don't care one way or the other, but this one seems to specifically want to be in a folder named PSYCHO so I just made it a subfolder within the game title folder. I have the disc image (PSYCHO.iso) in a folder just named "Disc Image". Make sure this is set in the "mounts" tab as drive D and a type of CD-ROM/ISO.
