Jenslyn87
Hi all! New customer here. Very happy with my BigBox purchase, but still learning. So this has proven more difficult for me than I'd expected! I don't particularly like the default square platform images in BigBox. I mean the images of the actual systems/platforms when you scroll through them. I'd much prefer something like the platform images you see here (SNES in thumbnail): Is there an easy way to install images like this for all standard platforms? I'd really like that. Thank you! neil9000
Hi and welcome to the community. Yes that is very easy to do, first download that pack here, Then you just need to copy the images to the correct folder, this will take some time as they have to be done individually. Just go to Launchbox/Images/Platforms/"name of platform"/Banners and drop your image there. The image needs to be named "Exactly" as it is named in launchbox, and you will need to go to Options/Image Cache in Bigbox and refrest the images for them to show up.
Jenslyn87
Fantastic, thank you! That's what I want Can I throw in a second quick, basic question while I'm at it? I love the CriticalZone theme that comes by default. However, it is just a little bit sluggish for my taste, even though my computer is fairly new. My guess is that it's the fact that the theme runs with two HD videos showing at the same time. There's a nice BigBox themed background plus whatever game/platform video you have running in the foreground. Is there some way to disable the background video or replace it with just an image? I think that might improve the performance of the theme. Thank you! This is great service:)
neil9000
You can try this, it's Version 2 of the Critical Zone theme, and has a version without the video background (you want the "BackgroundFanartOnly" Version).

Nope, they were removed from download after a request to do so from the creator.
