z011104 Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Hello everyone I'm new here and I had a question about how Big Box will behave in a certain situation. To rebuild my arcade cabinet I will be replacing the 27" CRT that I currently run with a 43" flat panel in portrait mode. So the resolution will be running 1080x1920 (Long and skinny). An emulator like Nestopia will launch with the image in the center and just black bar the top and bottom of the screen. I'm wondering what Big Box will do with this non-traditional resolution. It would be fine if it would scale the height of the monitor like launchbox seems to do but launching in the center of the tall rectangle would be fine as well. I didn't want to pull the trigger on Big Box until I knew what it would look like in my particular setup. If anyone that has it installed could switch their monitor to portrait mode and let me know what happens I would be much obliged. DOS76 Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 There is 1 maybe 2 portrait themes available in BigBox so if you have been watching any videos and seeing how BB looks most of the themes you might have seen aren't going to look like that on your monitor in that screen orientation.
