BB on a 36"TV?

Hello all,

              Can BB be run on a tube tv?. I have a 36" toshiba tv that I want to through into a cab. One reason is the awesome size and the other is the ability to use a light gun with it. I understand that as far as the actual games is concerned they played natively on these but what about bigbox? I am only in the planning stages of this.

Most of the themes here are designed for 1080p 16:9, however there is a theme in this thread that was created specifically on request for a user that has a low resolution monitor, its for 640x480 resolution.
