Question about mame

Hi I don't speak english very well but I will try to explain correctly. I'm using mame 0.161 version with fullromset 0.161 too and everything it's ok but I would like to update to mame 0.200 this summer with full romset 0.200 too. I know the easiest way will be to remove my old mame and the fullset and download the new mame and the new romset.My question is do I have to redownload again all media like videos manuals .... or is it possible to use it with the new romset? thanks and sorry for my english

for the most part your roms aren't going to change names much at all so so you can simply delete your old roms from the folder they are located in and then put the new ones in the same location as your old ones and the ones in LB will just keep working. Until LB implements it's MAME updates it isn't going to be able to recognize the newer games in the set anyway so that isn't a concern until later on down the line.

On a similar topic, I just filtered my set using RomLister and CLRMamePro and now have 2,886 Roms, when I try to import them into LB it doesn't want to import around 400 of the roms.

I tried once via the Mame import with everything unticked and chose to import all clones and i even went the route of importing without mame, but still it leaves out a large chunck of roms

Mame 0.197 is the set used.

 A game that it is being left out is 1943mii.zip for instance

Any idea what I'm doing wrong if anything?
