Controller still controlling BB when launching game

I'm not sure if this is because of the latest update with windows, or an issue with the latest launchbox, but I have noticed that upon launch of a game Bigbox wil frequently not "let go" of the controller causing me to accidentally open up multiple instances of one game. This has not been an issue before. I am updated to 8.4 beta 7.
Using windows version Windows 10 pro build 17134.112
