Allen
After bulk editing all my games to use RetroArch rather than individual emulators, I attempted to launch a game in bigbox mode, but it still is trying to use the old emulators (which I have removed from their path causing the game not being able to start up) Is there a way I can fix this without having to reimport everything (it took 2 days to import my games and I'd rather not go through that again)
Retro808
Do the games launch with Retorarch in Launchbox? If they do it should work in BigBox since your Launchbox set-up is what feeds BigBox. Even though you bulk edit the games to a new emulator you need to make sure Retroarch has the platforms for those games listed in the associated platform tab. Retro808
I would probably check the old emulator set-up and make sure the Default Emulator box is not checked in the associated platforms tab. If BigBox is trying to launch the game through the old emulator something in your setup is telling it to do so. Go tools>manage emulators in Launchbox and in the old emulators check the associated platforms tab for that check box. If it is checked uncheck it. I actually ended up deleting the old emulators from the manage emulators window and it still is trying to load the old emulators.
Allen
Welp, I found out what was happening, I had accidentally checked only show games that weren't missing box arts, and when I did the bulk edit it didn't have the games with missing box arts selected, and one of the games I was trying to launch was one of these games. Sorry about that.
Retro808
You figured it out. That’s all that matters.
