Mame settings ignored when launched in BigBox 8.6

I cannot get Launchbox/BigBox to start Mame with Bezel artwork disabled and with the aspect ratio to fullscreen. In addition it ignores my Mame xarcade control setup  unless I manually go in each game and disable artwork, full screen and set controls from within Launchbox. I shouldn't have to do all that. 

I have tested Mame outside of Launchbox on it's own and it acts like I need it to. It remembers my settings and everything is gravy but It's like it ignores all that when I launch from Launchbox/BigBox. I have also clean installed and tested on a different computer.

Any ideas guys? It is clearly a Launchbox/Big box issue.

Please help! This is the only thing stopping my arcade from being finished! Everything else looks fantastic with the new update. Thank you

Are you using RocketLauncher ?

I don't use RL and Launchbox has no problems with Mame and my settings.

No sir. Just 8.6 on it's own. Working Mameui64 .196b with a full rom set.

Is your mame.ini file located in the main Mame folder where the exe is located or in the \ini folder ?

It should be moved to the main folder if it is not there.

I did read that. I copied it to the root mame but I think I also left the old one in the folder.

I don't know if leaving a copy in the \ini folder would effect it or not but it wouldn't hurt to try moving it out and seeing.

I'll try that after work. But I also looked at the .ini with notepad and it's showing all artwork 0. And in standalone MameUI options it is all disabled as well. Where are the overlay/bezel pieces of artwork located in Launchbox? I looked through my art files to try and delete them but I don't see them.

They don't exist in Launchbox, they are all a part of your Mame setup.
