Clunker
I don't get how to set up in-game saves in Higan. That's what Launchbox recommends you use, but in-game saves don't work. Do I need to enable something or download a file? I tried googling it but couldn't come up with any relevant information.
Clunker
Guys, I figured it out. Sort of. You can't just exit out. For it to save, you first have to go into the menu and click "unload." That's the only way Higan will create an in-game save file. The problem is I don't know how to fix it. I set up my Launchbox using the Unbroken Software YouTube videos, including setting up how Launchbox exits emulators. This means the official YouTube videos are wrong. Whatever I was told to do when setting up Launchbox like a year ago is not right. Launchbox isn't exiting Higan correctly. It should be unloading games first and then closing out. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make that change.
neil9000
Im not sure what you are talking about here, the launchbox youtube tutorials do not recommend Higan as a emulator. It is very good and i use the retroarch core for it, but its not what we have in our tutorials. As for saving that is done in game like any snes game would be. If you are referring to save states then those are emulator dependant and i have never used Higan so cant help you there. Our youtube tutorial is not "wrong" as we have never produced one telling you to use higan.

It's the auto hotkey script that is wrong. We need a script that unloads the game, not just closes the process.
