D3ltax55 Posted December 8, 2018 Share Posted December 8, 2018 I got a big external harddrive. I was looking for a good program to make it look nice like retro pi. I found this. I don't mind paying. I want to know if I pay for it can I put it on a harddrive so I can use it on different computers in the house? IDK know how it will work. will i have to sign in to activate big box or something every time? If I can't get this to work on a portable harddrive i may have to see if I can figure out hyperspin. i hear it's kinda time consuming to set up thou. If you buy a license you are allowed to use the software on as many PC's as YOU OWN. So yes you can plug the drive into other PC's in the house. You dont have to sign in to anything, Launchbox is DRM free. You will upon purchase receive a License file via E-Mail which you drop in your Launchbox folder. You will be OK to take your Hard Drive to a friends house, but you will not be allowed to share that license with them. As for other sales i have no idea, there have been sales from time to time but i am not privy to them and they are usually announced on the day, not beforehand i'm afraid.
