hi guys,

my name is hector and im a new premium member. yesterday i open launchbox and installed the 9.2 update.

now launch box or big box does not open.. my computer thinks for 2-3 seconds then nothing.

anyone available to offer help?

Also, can you try running the 9.2 installer and installing to a new folder? I need to know if a brand new install works. You can keep the existing install the way it is in the mean time and just install to a new folder. You should be able to find the 9.2 setup file under D:\LaunchBox\Updates.

Okay, good to know. I'm wondering then if maybe either the previous update didn't install properly, or if maybe there are somehow issues with file permissions. The first thing I would try is running that same installer over again, and installing over the top of your D:\LaunchBox folder. Make sure when you run it that you select the D:\LaunchBox folder, and not D:\LaunchBox\LaunchBox, as the installer will automatically append LaunchBox after browsing for the folder. Make sure the installer completes successfully of course.

ok so i did exactly that and it launched... but none of my games showed up!?

also when i try to launch big box, it ask me for a license..

 

the license document is sitting in the launch box folder...
